It seems weird to me that they seem so into Peter being in high school. I was reading through the descriptions of some of the early AMS comics a couple weeks ago, and he was already starting college #31. So in the character's entire 50+ year history he barely spent 2 of them in high school.
Opinions?Another one for the pinch of salt category but this link claims to have the short list/wish list of candidates to direct this film/franchise: http://deadline.com/2015/05/spider-man-director-short-list-marvel-sony-1201421161/
An interesting bit from the article...
So, it looks like they are going all-in on a high school age Peter Parker. Opinions?...Feige and his producing accomplice Amy Pascal are planning an arc that will tell the Spidey story over three to four movies, each covering a year of high school for Peter Parker...
I'm all for a proper school-age Spidey. I'm especially hoping that MCU Spidey is very intelligent. Movie Spidey has so far been quite a few (dozen) IQ points below his comicbook counterpart.
I have, but I don't know what you're getting at.I'm all for a proper school-age Spidey. I'm especially hoping that MCU Spidey is very intelligent. Movie Spidey has so far been quite a few (dozen) IQ points below his comicbook counterpart.
You obviously haven't been keeping up with the current version in the comics.
Not very good 'cause I rushed it, but...Can't be long now before we get the first photoshops of him in a spider suit.
Didn't want a high school Spidey, didn't want another reboot, but it looks like Garfield shot himself in the foot.
