They've missed so many obvious opportunitys to promote their HD remastering project.
First: NO advertising at all, in ANY country!
Leaving ALL this to trekcore just CAN'T be the way to promote the project, you money-saving ass~oles!

This makes me as TNG fan ashamed for all the persons, who put their efford and heart blood into the remastering project! You CBS/Paramount FUCK them all right through their eyes!
Second: The "before/after" comparison shots on the back of the TNG box sets were a desaster from the get go! I've NEVER noticed ANY difference between those little pikkies, did either of you? I assume no. So WHY keep those?
If i'm a casual buyer and hold the set in my hand and look at the backcover, seeing the comparison shot and see absolutly NO difference in the before/after shot ... what would you think my decision would be to buy it or not? If there's NO difference to make out?! Well, think hard ...

Third: why not selling "must air commecials" for the BD-sets with the new HD TV rights?
So that every network who airs TNG in HD must air an 30sec commercial with comparison shots SD/HD and the claim "available to buy on Blu-ray now!"???
What a wasted opportunity!!!
Fourth: why not placing the TNG-BDs on a special shelf for some time in the stores, just a few weeks? OK, that costs, but maybe more people would have been at least aware of it and could have spread the word. (!)
Fifth: why releasing the single movie discs without any special advertising? Or (like in Germany) only at supermarkets and then even under a wrong (not known) title, like it happened with AGT?!
I really don't know what kind of persons are working in the CBS/Paramount home department in the PR compartment, but - by MY judgement - they are overpaid as they are NOT doing their job AT ALL! Fail as fail can be! Ridiculous!
