‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

There is an interview with Christian Bale in this month's Esquire where he notes that:

1) There were no conversations about him being in this film, none.

2) When he first started doing it, they did a scene where he's knocked out and he started dribbling because that is what a person who is knocked out would do and Michael Caine and Christopher Nolen basically said "Batman doesn't dribble!".

Superman has a massive muscular physique because he's Superman. Otherwise, he's just an alien in a bad Halloween costume.

But if you need an in-universe reason, maybe it's an evolutionary thing due to Krypton's gravity.
His muscle mass isn't proportional to his physical strength anyways, no matter what bodybuilder they cast.

A lot of cool new details about the movie, based on the new script. The most interesting thing to me being the big jump forward in time from MOS.

And sounds like we might also see what Batman was up to while the Superman/Zod battle was going down...

Btw... when someone posts a Trek related article by Devin Faraci, all hell breaks loose. But non-Trek related articles by him are ok I guess? ;)

Probably fake. There's a rumor the movie is being split into two parts

And the rumor spawned some funny titles. The last one was great.

Y'know, I wouldn't be surprised...it's sounded for a while now like they've been trying to cram too much into this film. This might give the Superman/Batman stuff some breathing room from the JLA setup stuff.

One way of determining if it's fake or not is what, if any big films are coming out on or around 23rd October. According to Movie Insider.com the Last Witch hunter and Jem & the Holograms are due out on 23rd. A week earlier is the Tom Hanks Steven Spielberg cold war spy film. Then Scouts v Zombies on 30th and Spectre and the Peanuts film a week after that, so I suppose its possible to shoehorn it in. Of course if there was any truth to the above screenshot the film would be listed on these release websites, right?

Of course its entirely possible if its fake (which it probably is) the faker looked up the same schedule I posted and picked that very date because of the lack of competition.

Obvious fake rumor and screenshot are obvious.

WB doesn't have a domain name set up for 2 movies for BvS. That and JL Part 1 comes out in 2017. Ome year after BvS. Their film schedule has been released. A split film wouldn't make sense.

^ Uh, no, not possible. There'd be contract/payment issues.

That is the reason I knew this could not be true. Warner Bros could not decide to split this into two separate films after contracts were already finalized for a single film.

Its known as the "Salkind Clause". Created after producers Alexander and Ilya Salkind decided to release The Three Musketeers and The Four Musketeers as two separate films. it was not originally planned that way. But they had so much footage they felt they had enough for a second movie. But the actors sued for being paid for only one film. So its a standard part of contracts know to know how many films you are actually working on.

If they did indeed decide to split Batman v Superman into two films, no doubt they would have first negotiated with their cast and crew to compensate them properly. Warner Bros. probably had to go through the same thing with the cast and crew of The Hobbit when they decided to make it three films instead of two.

I have ZERO expectations for this movie.

MOS was terrible and Zack Snyder proved that he's the wrong man for the job. I liked 300 and his Dawn of the Dead remake, but MOS was not good.

I fully expect Ben Affleck to do a better job than Henry Cavill.

The only way I'm going to see this movie---the ONLY way---is if there's good word of mouth, or good reviews.

MOS had neither.

Khal Drogo's coming to unite the Seven Kingdoms under his rule!

Seriously though, he looks great. I hope this movie rehabilitates Aquaman in the public eye.
