Angela started as a villain in Spawn at Image Comics. She's a warrior Angel assassin. But since she was created by Neil Gaiman, he won the rights for her and sold her to Marvel. Now, she's Thor's long lost sister who was raised by other dimensional angels in "Heven". She's currently with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

She hasn't been with the Guardians for quite some time now.

Really? When/why did she leave? I know she wasn't in the 3 part Cancerverse arc but I don't recall her leaving the team.

Yeah, I think she's still with the team, but the team's just separated right now into parallel stories with the Cancerverse flashback taking focus right now.

Has anyone here come up with a plausible explanation for why Thor didn't recognize and confiscate Loki's scepter if it's an Infinity Stone?

How well does Thor know the Infinity Stones. He had to have Odin look it up the Aether in a book and, even then, didn't know it was indestructible.

This was kinda posted before but adding the Phase 3 movie release calender and the Phase 3 concept art.

I think it's more for Banner, so he doesn't damage his clothes when he changes.

It's from Mark Waid's recent (and IMO mediocre) run, where Banner was working for SHIELD (and the Avengers as well).

^^
Yup, it's for Banner mostly. If the Hulk transforms in a dangerous area, then he's not caught totally at a disadvantage.
Plus, since it expands when he's the Hulk, it has the added bonus of not leaving Banner naked.

It made sense and was actually a long time coming. Especially since he had the resources of SHIELD behind him.

I'm still avoiding the Avengers:AoU thread and this might have been discussed there but in the newest trailer...

Why isn't Cap able to lift Thor's hammer? I had a feeling we'd see Cap using the hammer in a last effort assault but it seems he's just not worthy? How the hell is Cap not worthy?

Well.. since it's a spoiler thread and people have surely seen the trailer a thousand times by now i'll lay off the spoiler code.

If you watch the scene carefully you will notice that Mjolnir moves slightly when Cap tries to lift it (it even makes a tiny scratching sound on the table) and Thor notices it which leads to him losing his smug grin instantly to be replaced by astonishment.

If there was one person in that room who should be able to lift Mjolnir it would be Steve Rogers because he has all the qualities the Hammer wants its wielder to have.. honor, integrity, a warrior's heart and the skills to match it.

In the comics there were some occasions where Cap actually lifted the hammer on its own without some loopholes that makes it possible for some reason.

For the movie it could be speculated that Cap may have lifted the hammer but acted like he couldn't because he doesn't like to draw attention to himself much less be centerstage (unlike Thor who revels in the admiration of others). Maybe it was also a small clue as to what may happen later in the movie as theories go wild since Cap's Shield is shown broken it may mean the entire team is under serious pressure and Cap decides to use Mjolnir to save everybody.

We will see in a few months and i can't wait.

Good question, my thoughts exactly!

I think it was Avengers 390? After the mansion was destroyed and they were headquarted on Stingray's floating island, Cap picked it up an threw it to Thor to help him, he didn't want it for himself and whoever lifted the hammer had the power of Thor.
