7's costume

When I first watched VOY I was in awe of the bun, I thought she looked amaaazing. I think the only reason I faded on it was because she ended up looking even more amazing. Season 4 hair is my favorite.

And then there's this:

What is it with Ricks?

On topic: SPCTRE posted a link to an interview podcast from last year in another thread with Jeri Ryan and Aisha Tyler, where they discuss the feat of wardrobe engineering and the process she went through with Bob Blackman on Seven's costume over the years:

Listened to Jeri's interview by Aisha Tyler on another thread. Great quote:
"Apparently there's no bras and panties in space."

Someone tell JJ Abrams for the next movie.

I love Janeway in all of her hairstyles. I think I actually have HAD all of her hairstyles (not on purpose). I used to wear my long hair in a bun at the top of my head. I have also had bob cuts, ponytails, and a short do.

I love her Seasons 4-5 hair, but I don't think the bun wasn't hot. I dig it. One of my faves is when she had her hair DOWN and long in Seasons 1 and 2.

Kinda on the same topic, but does Seven wear the TOS Starfleet skirt and boots in Greg Cox's "No Time Like the Past?"

I only got a hundred pages before I got distracted, but I think they put her in Civilian overalls eventually.

But she can only go a couple days without regeneration, so it's not like she had an abundance of time to impersonate an officer.

She was disguised as one of those black and white half faced people like Loki of Cheron at one point which would have made a super sexy cover more so than using more barely altered stock photos.

I hated the silver catsuit. Not only was it overtly sexual (especially with the ribbing) but it was blinding! It hurt my eyes to look at it. I really liked the maroon and blue. On another note, I didn't like her hairstyle. I don't see why they had to sleek it back. A ponytail would have been fine, at least. B'Elanna had her hair down, why not Seven?

I'm surprised she didn't shave it off.

Embracing humanity.

SEVEN STOLE HER BUN!

Someone decided that both of them couldn't have their hair up.

And Mulgrew was deemed less important, that her rebranding to make room for Jeri Ryan's domination "her" show was less jarring to the fanbase?

Bun to bob.

Optics.

What you look like, determines how people think you are superficially.

When did the Bob turn up?

Got it, sometimes I feel so stupid.

People communicate differently and when online it can be trickier because you may have to await clarification and having to ask publicly may resurface shame. But we're all at different levels of understanding and use different vernacular. No need to feel stupid. Easier said than done but no one thus far here has shamed me for asking for a clearer meaning. I won't deny grammar and literature are my regrettably a weak points. Part Lack of understanding and lack of interest. I prefer communication through art and self expression and wished everyone was telepathic, lol.

I remember something where a telepath got to close to someone with a toilet between their ears, and their disgusting surface thoughts induced vomiting in the telepath.

That, and sometimes Guy's posts are simply beyond comprehension.
