New brake pads and rotors, front and rear. Ouch. You must go! Aside from the exhibits and the awesome exterior of the main building, they have the best/weirdest museum gift shop ever.
They used to wait till after Thanksgiving to start with the Christmas stuff. It gets earlier and earlier. Soon "Christmas in July" will be more a reality than a joke.
You are absolutely correct. I am not going to complain, though. My wife wanted a couple of new ones last year and didn't start looking for them until closer to Christmas. The problem there was that by then most stores had already sold out what stock they had and weren't getting anything more in. I told her to order on-line, but she didn't want to be bothered with returning something she might not like. This year, she didn't wait. As soon as she laid eyes on what she wanted we got them.
this down jacket, in black a Tumi wallet and a water bottle, because I left mine in someone's car and have no idea if/when I'll see them again
Cat food and treats, and food to get me through 2 or 3 days. Failed to get any snacks though, I wanted Nilla Wafers but they don't seem to carry them.
Doh! I forgot a recent purchase I made... Just got a new charger for my ipod. The one I had was getting a little long in the tooth, it still worked, but it earned a nice rest . Went with a Belkin one for around $20 odd dollars. It's pretty well made and works for both my ipod and my mom's.
Started doing some Christmas/birthday shopping on Amazon. I have to buy gifts for three birthday before Christmas: my sister, my friend and my nephew. Then, I have about 15 gifts to get before Christmas. Last night, I got one birthday and one Christmas gift done with my Amazon points--so two gifts, about 30 bucks each, done for free. For one, I got a bunch of Sherlock books and trinkets, and for the other, a jewelry making book (she's into crafts) and some beauty products.
I haven't played Journey, but Minecraft is awesome. I recently ordered (from Amazon): Xena Season 5 DVD, If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor (book), and Battle On!: An Unauthorized Look at Xena: Warrior Princess (book).
