Your ultimate dream Trek story

^ Speaking of Aquiel Uhnari, the Haliian culture is ripe for exploration.

There are several established or hinted Federation member races that have yet to be fleshed out. It seems a wonderful opportunity, having these established members who are almost entirely unexplored. The Arbazan, the Haliians, the people of Delb II, the Peliar, the Draylaxians, etc. A writer could take one of these races and invent something really interesting for them, because we have so little information that their societies could be made very alien without contradicting anything.

In recent years- and kickstarted by Ex Machina- we've gotten a lot more variety in the Federation. The Arkenites, Caitians, Zaranites, Saurians, Rhaandarites, Chelons, Kazarites, Efrosians, etc, have all been explored at least a little. But there's still a few untapped races left. No need to invent any more new members- an existing one could be fleshed out. :)

Oh, and let's visit Denobula! :)

I loved Ex Machina's attention to detail regarding the TMP races but I'd still like to see more about them.

Agreed! :) I also liked how Star Trek IV races started cropping up after that- Kasheeta and Kazarites in "Orion's Hounds", and Arkenites in "Titan" and elsewhere.
