Your SDCC'19 Trek hopes

San Diego Comic Con is going to be huge for Trek this year, with Picard, Lower Decks and Discovery season 3 news, and hopefully pictures, trailers, clips and more.

Mundane or outrageous, what's your biggest Trek-related SDCC hope? Mine is that they'll officially announce that live action Starfleet Academy series they were secretly developing a year ago. Smallville/Buffy Trek is the Trek I need most in my life.

A glimpse into Disco season 3 (not much will be available since filming has either not started or just started).

I suspect anything like a new show or movie will be withheld until Vegas Trek in a few weeks. That was where they announced Picard last year.

What the heck? Are you serious about that or hopefully you're joking. You're always on people who criticize Discovery, yet here you are hoping Picard is cancelled?

I'm going to STLV so I'm really hoping Comic Con is a preview of what to expect at STLV. I'm waiting for a major update to the guest list (It's pretty thin) and I'm being told there is more priority on Comic Con than the actual official Trek Convention.

Other hopes:

1) Dates for some of these new series. I remember when someone said there was going to be a short trek after the finale of Discovery and while that was wrong, it got me thinking how CBS All Access is bad at dates like Apple is bad at dates for the new Apple TV streaming service.

2) A teaser to Discovery Season 3

3) Tarentino Trek actually happening, or some clarification

I read a CNBC article yesterday saying talks for the merger of CBS and Viacom will get serious in August, so as a surprise out of left field announcement, Star Trek 4 is back on.
