I hope ours falls over the Spring and Summer, otherwise it's going to be unsustainable.

Do you need to use A/C where you live? If not, your bill will fall anway, won't it? If you do need A/C then I guess a solution if rates don't fall is to hang around in public places with aircon for as long as possible during the day! Hey, gotta think laterally!

I've only had one class so far, but I've paged through the textbook and it's already looking far more interesting than I thought it would be. Not a field I would want to go into myself, but still quite interesting.
Now my other class, the one on the psychology of cyberspace ... I got that book yesterday. I'm loving the chapter and section titles. For example:

Star Trek Online, as well as the latest MMPB. Got those, and a logitech remote (present for my mom, who's a little technologically impaired) in the mail from Amazon yesterday.
Also dropped big money yesterday, as I put in the order for my kitchen cabinets. redoing the whole thing; cabinets, granite counter tops, new appliances, lights, tile floors, whole works. That's gonna hurt when the bill comes in...

One thing to keep an eye on with quarterly billing is exploiting the two tier pricing scheme. You know how you pay X pence per unit for the first Y units, and then pay Z<X pence per unit for the remainder.
Well if a provider changes their prices mid quarter, they'll often reset the timer, so you're paying at the higher X ppu again -- twice in the same quarter.
It's a stealthy way of getting more money out of you, but it's not something you can easily factor into price comparison. Monthly billing tends to use a much smaller Y, or does away with the two tier thing altogether, which may leave you better off, especially when they pull this stunt.
Mostly glad to have saved myself that extra $2400 I had floating around in my couch cushions. Never seen one go for more than $500! Zoinks! But ain't it gawjus!!!
Replaced the A/C compressor and all associated parts on the van yesterday. Quoted price: $1,450; my price: $50. The extended warranty I bought with the car just paid for itself. 
Just purchased several games for the 360 (COD 4, Force Unleashed, and ME 2). I also bought the entire series of TNG from overstock.com. I also bought a Sig Sauer P232 a few weeks ago.
