I got some rope and I got a knife. I got some paraseetomal, some parasetemel, paracetemel - some paracetomol. I got a gun and I got Star Trek 5 :guffaw:

Overpriced textbooks. Psychology of Cyberspace and one on Social Psychology. My stats class still hasn't assigned a text yet.

For the first time I bought my groceries online and I had them delivered this morning. I spent $152.31 but one item (dishwashing liquid) was missing so I sent an email to the supermarket but I haven't heard back from them yet.

Overpriced textbooks... Social Psychology.

All you need to know about Social Psychology:

- Individuals wish they could behave like Nietzsche's superman but feel guilty about that.
- Crowds will tend towards behaving like a bolshevik mob, if left to their own devices for long enough.
- Social Psychologists (esp. from the sociology wing of the subject) love translating the above two facts into complicated symbology.

Everything else is a derivative of the above triad, to a greater or lesser extent. :D ;)

I ordered a new bespoke jacket - cream linen, with a matching lining, 2 buttons, side vents and patch pockets. Should be ready in time for summer, so here's hoping we get a hot & sunny one!

I have just received two books from Amazon. They are

Gender Diversity: Crosscultural Variations
by Serena Nanda

Alex and Me: How a Scientist and a Parrot Discovered a Hidden World of Animal Intelligence - and Formed a Deep Bond in the Process by Irene Pepperberg.

My TV broke in the U-Haul over the weekend, which I discovered as I was setting up my new living room, and my warranty didn't cover the damage.

So...I bought a 50" Plasma HDTV. It was on sale for $700. I think it was a pretty sweet deal.

Of course, this happened a week after I finally managed to pay off my Best Buy credit card!

Star Trek - The Next Generation Technical Manual and Pokemon Heart Gold for the NDS. (ha)

I just bought on eBay...

2 x cheap hotshoe camera flashes
1 x cheap hotshoe wireless flash trigger
3 x cheap hotshoe wireless flash receivers

And from B&H...

1 x Manfrotto 190xb tripod + 496rc ballhead
1 x Impact Flash Umbrella mount kit (two lightstands, adapters and umbrellas)
1 x 72mm Circular Polarizing filter
A few offbrand filter adapters

Oh, and God of War 3 to keep me occupied while I wait for the eBay stuff to ship from China and the B&H stuff to ship from NYC! I want some other stuff too, but I'm probably going to DIY it with cardboard, duct tape and paper. It's more fun that way!

New brakes for my car. Fortunately they were covered by my cars warranty! Saved me almost €750!

I bought all three seasons of the original Star Trek TV series on Blu-ray.

Now I'm wondering if I should go wild and buy the largest LCD HD-TV commercially out there even though that would require some serious furniture changes.
