The spring/summer weather triggered in me a momentary lapse of reason, and I bought some(5) new summer dresses and skirts(2). Oh, and some shoes...

This is my favorite (but my eyes look creepy!):

The color is just dreamy, and it brings out the green in my eyes. I love the way the bodice gathers at the shoulders. The neckline is a moderately low V in the back, which is very comfortable. And magically, it fits like a glove; I've got to shop the vintage look because modern clothes just aren't made for bodies like mine.
I'll post some of the others -- I've got a great, 40's style navy and white polka dot number, an outrageous floral strapless that makes me look as if I've just stepped right out of 1992 (but in a good way), a purplish-heather button-up dress with just a hint of the safari, oh, I could go on -- when I get new batteries for my camera.

You have superb taste.

I had you in mind when posting it here. While my love for European cars knows no bounds, this is one of those vehicles that was just right for me. With eight speeds, it's tame and smooth, but after 3600 RPM when the second intake opens, it's like the booster rockets igniting.
