The bodice detail/sleevecaps I could take or leave, but I love the neckline, waist details & the skirt shape/pleats. Pretty, and youthful, silhouette.

My husband had somewhat the same reaction, only his exact words were "I don't like all that frilly stuff."

I wanted to pick something with sleeves because I knew she wouldn't wear something sleeveless, and she goes for frilly sometimes so I figured it's a fair enough guess. She never would spend on a dress for herself, so even if it doesn't work out, she at least can get a different dress.

Plus we're taking her to the orchestra for her birthday, and I thought that might be a fun dress for her to wear. :)

Today, I picked up some more Christmas presents and I finally settled on this years Holiday Cards. I couldn't make a final decision on just one so I got the two that I really liked, one for family and one for friends. I usually send out around fifty to sixty cards so thank goodness I found them on sale this year! It only cost me $30!

I also picked up the special edition of "Santa Claus: The Movie" and Tori Amos' Christmas CD. :bolian:

Yesterday I ordered a Flash Gordon lunch box and Lady Gaga's new album off Amazon. Hopefully they both will get here before Wednesday.

Speaking of Christmas CDs, anyone remember the one by the Crypt Keeper from Tales from the Crypt?

"Deck the halls with parts of Charlie,
Fa la la la la, la la la la...." :guffaw:

Picked up a new fire extinguisher, child safe plug covers, 80 bucks worth of groceries and a new belt for the vacuum.

But it was the wrong size belt, so back to Fry's we will go.

Eventually.

£300 for shipping my stuff to the US.

Also a visit to Cadbury World  and £6.40, picking up large bars of Bournville Old Jamaica (rum and raisin flavoured), Bournville Orange, Dairy Milk with Apricot and Crumble, Trebor Extra Strong Spearmint gum and a little pressie for my fiancée for no reason whatsoever.

I got Dragon Age: Origins for the PS3 today.
I hope you'll like as much as I did. :D
Well, as much as I -do-, I'm playing through my second campaign now.

I bought a basic long sleeved, deep gray t-shirt and two lovely, warm lambswool sweaters (one light gray and one cream) from Gap today. I don't usually shop there, but every so often they do bring out something of good quality and good design.

Sony BDP-CX960 400 Disc Blu-ray Disc / DVD MegaChanger (Black)

Squeee scarcely begins to cover it. I'll be able to replace my existing 400-disc DVD changer and my Playstation 3 with this one unit, and sell the other two to recoup some of the cost. When I read this this will pull the information for each DVD directly from the internet I was sold. On my existing unit you have to enter every name and title manually using a keyboard. Ugh.

I used to have a multi-changer for CDs and I loved it. Sadly, it was stolen a couple years ago. This looks really cool! Especially since it automatically retrieves DVD info. :techman: Congrats!

That is pretty damn sweet. :D
