Your latest purchases

I bought a silver tray and a little mini-stocking that you put silverware in for your Christmas dinner. It's for my best pal. She loves all that stuff.

A 2008-model 42" LCD HDTV (1080p) made by LG. Bought it off a friend of mine for a very reasonable price.

It is glorious. :D

Sony BDP-CX960 400 Disc Blu-ray Disc / DVD MegaChanger (Black)

Squeee scarcely begins to cover it. I'll be able to replace my existing 400-disc DVD changer and my Playstation 3 with this one unit, and sell the other two to recoup some of the cost. When I read this this will pull the information for each DVD directly from the internet I was sold. On my existing unit you have to enter every name and title manually using a keyboard. Ugh.

That thing looks amazing. Would love to be able to store my entire collection in one box like that. Bet it's a pain to remove discs when the mechanism breaks though.

Erm, my last purchase was a bunch of ingredients for chilli. Nothing exciting.

Same here. Plus we got another turkey. The store was giving away free turkeys with any $50 or more purchase. We also picked up a reasonably nice bottle of Vodka with a velvet gift bag for my youngest daughter, who turned 21 today.

Ugh I hate the store the day before Thanksgiving. Though I did bond with a guy over the lack of chopped pecans and helped him find an alternative.

Latest purchases are the ingredients for garlic mashed potatoes, taco dip, and two carrot cakes.

Last-minute Thanksgiving items, and several movies. We usually go to the theater on Thanksgiving, but nothing we'd like to see is playing this year, so we bought: Because of Winn-Dixie, Last Man Standing, Pineapple Express (for my dad), In Bruges (about half an hour after buying it, it dawned on me that I once spent the day in Bruges), Gran Torino, Bedtime Stories, and Fracture.
