Your latest purchases, cont.

I purchased a Nintendo 3DS XL yesterday. My first two games were Pokémon Black Version 2 (a regular DS title) and The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 3D.

I never finished the first version of Ocarina back on N64 due to an accident in which the cartridge was broken. Perhaps now I'll finally beat it!

Got another Star Wars figure, this time a duplicate of an online exclusive so I'd have an extra.

cottage cheese and a bunch of radishes. And chocolate and a candy bar. I need the energy as I am torn between hibernation and spring fatigue :D

I bought a ukulele. Because I figured being able to play four instruments at a mediocre level just wasn't enough. I have to be able to play five instruments poorly!

The only instrument I can play with any level of competence is the harmonica, followed in increasing levels of unpleasantness with the drums and acoustic guitar.

I picked up a few bags of groceries this evening just in case my area gets anything off the winter storm heading to the Northeast. I don't think we will get much of anything here in the Midatlantic and Appalachians, but you never know.

Star Trek TNG: Cold Equations Trilogy
Twitch Upon a Star: The Bewitched Life and Career of Elizabeth Montgomery
$125 worth of groceries and gas at Costco.

couldn't make up my mind at the market today so I got one of each:
Brown trout (today's supper, fried with herbs), filet of stone trout marinated in herbs and rose petals (sounded too interesting not to try; tomorrow's lunch) and smoked brown trout which will very likely become Sunday's supper in a Bavarian version of Sushi (with horse radish, ruke and red bell peppers).

And a chocolate muffin and a slice of cheese cake with cherries as comfort food (I must work overtime today and there's a blizzard approaching which means that - depending on the direction of the storm - I shall either get home veeery quickly

or extremely slowly)

I wasn't planning to buy this, but it was on sale. One of the better G-Shock models CASIO has made thus far:

It has a ballistic nylon wristband that is very comfortable [alternate pic]. And a useful set of functions that includes moon phase and tide graph, two stopwatch timers, countdown timer, and a bunch of other conveniences.

Yearly safety inspection for my car. It was surprisingly quick, and to be honest, I'm surprised my POS car passed.

^ Congrats, AuntieHill. :) That reminds me, I'm a bit overdue for wheel balancing and rotation. :vulcan:

An enormous bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper, to get me through the rest of the day.

I swear, I should just get an IV bottle of the stuff so I can mainline soda.

I've been on a bit of a spy kick lately, so I picked up dvd sets of two Seventies British series, The Persuaders and The Protectors on eBay. I also bought a dvd of a Sixties Roger Moore spy comedy called Crossplot. However, the most important dvd purchase for me was Gene Roddenberry's The Questor Tapes, which has finally been released on dvd. It was actually released back in October, but I just recently found out about it (and I don't recall it being mentioned on this Board at all). Now all I have to do is find the time to watch them.
