roflol true...

if i had what i wanted, i'd actually be going for a Hasselblad H4D... those are the things of dreams, literally...

if you think full frame is impressive, check the Hasselblad range of cameras... these are things to drool over and dream about lol

they're beyond full frame or 'HD', and have been for some time now. They use a style called 'Medium Format'... i won't bore you with the technical spec of this as it's pretty in depth, you can wander over here if you really want...

To put it blunty though, a medium format BODY alone will set you back over £10,000... add on lenses, back and other equipment, and you're heading into the £20,000 just for start up very quickly.

I've heard of these, I've tried not to look too closely into it for fear of loss of life due to too much drooling. I try to never -ever- think about them, so I can be happy with my little one, and smile and stroke that. :p :D

roflol... medium format is great for printing and stupidly high detail... i know of a few porn sites and publications that solely use medium format for some reason lmao...

typically though, the camera doesn't matter... i've seen absolutely amazing pictures taken with a £100 'point and click' camera, and likewise seen absolute shite taken with a full DSLR with amazing lens... if the person behind the viewfinder can't take a good photo, or doesn't have the creativity in them, then the most expensive equipment in the world won't make up for it...

Today I bought four of these classic French soup-bowls:

at 1.80 (USD) a piece I just could not. (especially as I had NO bowls at all in the first place).

^Hello kitty! -I mean... well, that is what I mean :rommie:

I forgot to also mention that I bought this flask:

I love flasks, mostly because of all the stuff I make to put in them though! (see my photo-album on here).

I bought it second-hand: the great thing about glass is that it's a perfect material to clean!

The Incredible Hulk complete series DVD set for $35.00 from Amazon. Considering that it originally cost something like $110.00 when it first came out four years ago, I'd say this was a bargain. Makes me wish I had waited til now for the Knight Rider complete series set that also came out four years ago. But since I REALLY loved that show, I bought it immediately, and paid (IIRC) $95.00-$100.00 for it.

I also got all three Hulk reunion films in the same order. I haven't seen this show since I was a kid, and watched it every week in it's first run with my mom (who, for some reason, thought the concept of a guy turning into a green monster when he got pissed was funny), so I'm looking forward to revisiting it when my current watching of my Smallville complete series set ends.

Indeed. I get so annoyed when someone says, "Oh, your pictures look so much better than mine. You must have a really good camera." No, silly, mine look better than yours because I have a sense of composition, and I only display my best photos, not every one that I shoot. :klingon:

A miniature football and various wooden planks and materiel. A few classmates were interested in playing pyramid and my old setup kicked the bucket. Gotta make a new one.

Saw THIS on ThinkGeek. I soooooooooo want this! Not that I need it, but, you know, I want a blue canary in the outlet by the lightswitch.
