Your latest purchases, cont.

Yet another tank of gas, a bottle of water, a Hershey bar and some kettle chips. Another long drive back home.

I'm sure it will. Just be aware that when clothes first come out of a condenser drier, they'll still be a fraction damp to the touch and need airing for a few minutes or so to dry out fully, esp. if you set the drier setting to anything short of "super-fluffy" or whatever the extreme dry setting is called on your machine. It's just how the technology works.
Thanks for the heads up! It got here this morning, it's been tested and it works very well.

I'd even say that taking them out slightly damp makes for less wrinkled clothes than ultra-dry. Glad it's working out!

Yep, agreed. Shirts go to "iron-dry" level as they really are easier to iron when fractionally damp; everything else to "airing cupboard" level. I never use the "super-fluffy" extreme setting, even for towels.

Haven't bought anything for several days; not willing to brave the shops on one of the busiest weekends of the year!

I got me a latte, because it was just too damn cold outside today.

And some groceries, including cherries because I needed a treat.

I just bought my drivers license. (I actually earned it. But i have to pay for the manufacturing and the photo.)

Now it says: AM, A1, BE, CE. (EU moped, light motorbike + tractor, passenger car with heavy trailer, lorry with heavy trailer, respectively.) Gotta turn 21 for taxi, bus and heavy motorbike.

What i don't get is why they can just give me these little stickers instead of giving me a new license every bloody time i pass for something new.

Spending bonanza these past few days:

- collected new suit from tailors, worn for first time yesterday...

z0jOV.jpg

- got an extra 30%-off discount offer mailed to me by one of my fave shops so got a few things from there...

And then...

- paid for a major service on the car
- and tomorrow, I have to get the front two tyres replaced as the tread depth is too low

Add in having to do the usual grocery shop earlier on, and filling up the car, and you have a fair bit of coin being spent this week. I call it a Cash Convergence (that came second to Spending Singularity in the mental vote)...

I ordered a few things from Amazon - some recorder (musical instruments), a flute, and books so I can teach myself how to play them. :) I've also got several other items on order. :D

Today I received this book

I also received Meerkats: The Movie which I am giving a little boy for Christmas. I also received Greyfriars Bobby and The Incredible Journey, one of which I am going to give to a five year old girl but I am not sure which is the best of the two would be most suitable.

I've just ordered some music books for the recorder and flute. I'm learning to play the instruments. I already read music and that really helps. :D

This jacket. Actually, my mom bought it for me as a Christmas present, and will give it to me Christmas Eve so I can wear it to church. And it was half price. :D

It looks better on me than on the model. :p

Mom also picked this up for me. I love shopping with my mom! (I've got all of her presents bought and wrapped already.)

Just bought meself an early christmas present. A Huawei X1 (U8180) mobile.

Rest in peace, my beloved iPhone 4G. *salute*

Some underwear among other items (video games and the Jackie Evancho doll). I collect dolls that I enjoy. I have many Barbie dolls and switch them around for display.
