To the farmer's market. There was late summer and early autumn fruit. I refrained from damsons and various kinds of plums (have a greengage in the garden that has been in overdrive this year), and from cobnuts (don't mind eating a few but the quantities are too large for me) but bought:
Apples (Laxton Late Cropped);
Apple juice ( Catshead; Ashmead's Kernel; Herefordshire Russett - I'm very fond of russett).
Also picked up a couple of different types of peaberry coffee to take as presents when visiting. I am fairly certain these were not from local farms...
Several gaskets and O-rings, gear oil, 10-W-40 engine oil, brake fluid, rollers, V-belt and a shiny clean air filter, scooter needs some maintenance and tlc, yes I always overdo it but on the other side the machine never skipped a beat, doing the maintenance myself it's cheaper and useful since you have a basic knowledge of the machine so if something does go wrong you can at least rule out/fix the simple stuff.
Bought a pair of khakis, a navy print T shirt and a light blue blouse. $70. More than I wanted to spend but I need some "business casual" clothes for my new job.
Bought chips for a party. Lay's and Ruffles were not on sale at the grocery store unless I bought multiple. Saw I could get two Utz bags for the price of one Lay's or Ruffles so I bought Utz instead. Upon eating them, honestly I can't really tell the difference between brands.
Bought a trowel, because I'm too lazy to search for my old one, and a bucket to mix up some mortar for adobe bricks and adobe tile that have come loose at a 53-year-old house.
