a new hairstyle. the long hair is gone.

and since we are on a TrekBBS, I will admit, I showed my haircutter a picture of Soran from Generations and asked if she thought it was doable, and if it would work. She said yes.

It does. Now I just need to go find the Nexus.
 
I was planning on buying a bottle of Baileys Cream today but the supermarket had run out so have bought a cheaper brand called Causeway Coast that I've not tried before. Will be giving it a taste test later with Muppets Christmas Carol.

With my luck a sunless Earth would still be too hot for me.

My latest purchase: a new portable CD player to replace the one I've had for fifteen years which is starting to wear out beyond my ability to repair.
 
Maybe not so. Yesterday worked fine...

Turned on today and picture had a flickering effect in background that occurred on any channel or App I loaded up. I reset the settings to default and even turned it off for 5 minutes from the mains but nothing. Then after being on for a period of time it seem to lessen and then go away.

So might need to call for a replacement :weep:

I hope that was a one time thing but better to check with their tech support line.

Is it the one from 2011, or did they reissue it? If its the 2011, mine has held up fine over the years. Of course, I haven't taken it off the shelf since 2012, so there's that.

Publication date is from 2019.
The dvd's are really tight placed on the holders, and It is not easy to get them loose

Are they in those tight sleeves in two book-like things that look like the old bank ledgers? If so, I can sympathize. Mine are like that, and that's another reason I haven't touched it in eight years. I'm afraid to scratch them. Plus, the whole box is heavy as hell.

The dvd's are pressed in two big dvd cases, with two or three dvd's pressed on eachother
