Your latest purchases, cont.

I’ve been buying too much lately... I’m an emotional buyer, :alienblush:

Bought some vintage postcards for my collection online today.

I am, too. I find myself browsing online when I'm depressed or stressed out. I'm been browsing online today but can't buy what I need because it's sold out or WAY over-priced. The price-gouging is ridiculous. I haven't made any purchases of frivolous things yet because I'm worried about our income--or soon to be lack of income. But I'm bored, so I'm still browsing.

I feel like I could easily fall into this too... but I'm trying right now to actually *reduce* my spending, because, as much as I try not to worry about it, there's no guarantee that I come out of this still having a job.

A really strong spring.

I have a Spanish Mauser rifle, from 1948. The striker spring on it was weak from being left in a compressed state for many years. I got a 24 pound spring to replace the old, as a lot of old surplus 8mm Mauser ammo has hard primers, and even a normal spring has trouble with it. Arrived by mail and I fitted it last night. The was a tough spring, and I did not have any special tools to affect the repair with. The first time the spring launched the striker into my computer case while I was trying to reassemble the bolt, but I finally got it all back together. New life for a 72 year old rifle.

Glad you didn't shoot your eye out.

My S7 edge died the other day so I've been scouring for a replacement, was wanting a flagship android handset but the prices are a joke, so got a Samsung galaxy A71. Really, really pleased with it. Bar wireless charging and waterproofing It's an excellent phone, exceeded my expectations. Mid range phones have come on leaps and bounds lately.

^ I used to love Upwords. Skip-Bo is another Uno-like card game and very easy to play.

My husband is obsessed with table top board games and card games; if there's a new game out there, we've either played it or read about it.

I bought some styrene, glue, sandpaper, LEDs, and balsa wood for my craft project.

Bought a fortnite and a bendy plushy for the kids for being a bit ace during all of this nonsense.

And a dosset box for the lass’ meds.

Still waiting for my stuff to arrive.

Felimazole for my cat, Spider. It is a drug for hyperthyroidism. Normally my cat takes it in tablet form but it seems there is a big shortage on the tablets nationwide. The tablets cost $90 for 100. I have to get the capsules instead which are $138 for 100 :( Plus $10 postage as I am in self-isolation.

Luckily I have enough insulin to do him about 2 months.

Some stuff from the iTunes Store:

- Movie: Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker
- Helix album "Walkin' The Razor's Edge"
- Strumbellas album "Hope"
- July Talk album "Touch"
