I paid my property taxes for the year this morning.

Edit: A couple of hours later, I recieved an e-mail at 11 PM that a book I'd been on a waiting list for was awailable for purchase (what kind of company has people working with used books at this time of night?).
Had to have it.
Even if I don't collect first editions and rarely care what a book looks like and this one was at a price of about ten times what it was originally sold, I just had to have it (and not only because it is the second volume of a two-volume story where I have the first, but because it's a MUST HAVE for any red-blooded Dane).
