One each of these Funko Pop pens.

I didn't even know these existed!

Groceries and some dinner items for this evening since all the snow and ice kept me from getting out and buying anything over the past couple of days.

I'd missed a thread about a game last year that's just popped up again recently. Looking at it, it sounds interesting, so I've just purchased that via Steam - Consortium.

Talking about old TVs. My 27 inch Sharp TV was purchased in 1993. I don't watch much, but it still works good and meets my TV needs.

As far as recent purchased, a few groceries, the Miss America brunette Barbie doll, and a two-piece dress for my Barbie.

More groceries for the next few days and a Walmart-exclusive 3.75" Black Series figure of Endor Han Solo.

I got that figure recently. It turns out that it's basically a re-release of a sculpt that was already released before (but the coat is newer and better).
Have you ever seen the site jedibusiness.com? It has descriptions and photos of every Star Wars action figure that's ever been released.

Yeah, that's a great website. It's not one I visit very often and I probably should do so more frequently. Right now Jedi Temple Archives, Yakface and Galactichunter are my favorites.

Nokia stopped development of their 'maemo' devices just as I'd found myself the perfect smartphone running that software.

After having used an Andoid-device that used to belong to my dad for a few months I'd found that it wasn't for me... too many google-thingimajiggs that constantly want to tell me how to use my phone.

I was extatic when Sailfish came out and immediately bought a Jolla... took me about a year to brick it so thoroughly that it is beyond repair -and since the system doesn't seem to be going anyplace soon I've decided to try something new this time.

But it was sold out so I had to go for a 'smaller' version.

I just purchased an Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition.

Now, if Ubuntu also fails I'll just stop thinking I can't live without a smartphone and buy an old-fashioned old-people-phone with a big display and some big buttons and no frills.

I just bought the 1992 Beastie Boys album Check Your Head on vinyl, because my old cd is falling apart and it's no longer hipster to buy LPs on vinyl, apparently. Those things last fucking forever, and I had quite forgotten how much I love that album (RIP my one true love, MCA).

Seriously, my first LP from 1987, the soundtrack to Labyrinth, is as good as new. My dad's Buddy Holly LPs from the 60s are as good as new, and cds we bought 20 years ago are degrading pretty badly. Amazon is selling everything on vinyl now, which I recently found out, to my delight. I like it that it's making a comeback that isn't just based on nostalgia, but quality and durability issues.

I'll have to re-buy Licensed To Ill, Ill Communication, and Hello Nasty, too, as well as my Green Day, Keane, Blur, and Oasis albums...

...and that one Spice Girls thing I got when I was fourteen, in 1997. Yeah. * whistles discreetly *

Tl;dr: vinyl is back and I love it. * hearts *
