Your latest purchases, cont.

Now that I've got a new job, I've started paying for my own groceries again.
Since out car was acting up and I couldn't get a ride home from work from my mom, I bought a Razor scooter to help get myself home on Sunday night. I was originally going to get a bike, but all of the bikes in the store had half flat tires, and no way to get them inflated, so I ended up going with the scooter instead.

They didn't sell tire pumps?

I didn't see any, they had very few accessories, and the only pumps I could find were little hand pumps for balls over in the sporting goods section, and I was afraid they would be weak to use on the bike tires.

Just seems odd to me. Though, admittedly, I haven’t shopped for a bicycle for in 15 years.

If they had an automotive section, fix-a-flat for cars, one can should be able to inflate 2 bike tires, and stop future leaks. I hope you get some good use out of the scooter though. :)

I stopped in at a Walgreens to pick up some cleaning supplies, but ended up buying 6 pairs of socks. I know, but they are very very soft. My feet appreciate that. Also, they only come in packs of 3, and I had to get 2 packs to get all the good colors, hence, the 6 pairs. I'm not a crazy sock lady, really I'm not. Well....maybe a little...ok, maybe I do have a problem. So, let the sock jokes begin. Sock it to me!

I just bought some cupcakes from a stand that some neighbourhood children had set up. I saw a post on Facebook so I hurried down the road to buy some.

I bought some folding pocket knives from Amazon, with blade lengths of 3 inches to 5 inches. Some of them have a glass breaker built in the handle. My house is located on an irrigation canal that is about 20 feet deep and 50 feet wide and is full 8 months out of the year. I use the canal bank as a driveway to my garage and I need to keep 3 of the knifes, one in each of the vehicles with electric windows. If a car or pickup truck goes into the water, there is no guarantee you can get the window down before the battery or motors in the window give out.
