Yesterday: a haircut and lots of blue highlights. Today: an evening gown for two weddings in Sept/Oct. At one of them, I'm going to be a mama of the bride.
I found out last month (when I went to Toronto) that a lot of countries don't even stamp passports anymore. Neither the US nor Canada do, I know that much.
Interesting! You can bet they stamp and scrutinize each and every time I come from the UAE to the USA, or the USA to the UAE. Guess I am not surprised, but the number of times you must submit and show documents and passport can be a bit much. I wish they would just have one SuperCheck for each direction, but they did not ask me what I think!
Merci beaucoup, HIjol and Laser. I've found the same thing with passports. My current one looks so boring.
Speaking of passports, my latest purchase is an Under Armour shirt WITH A POCKET so I can carry one. Geez, why can't they make passports that can be clipped to a belt or put in a wallet?
I'm just happy that I found my passport again! Big spender today! I bought a pair of yellow plastic gloves and a squeegee on a long stick...
^ Thank you, Auntiehill. ETA: So why the hell -- since I've deleted it from Photobucket, cleared my cookies and stuff, and restarted the computer -- is my photo still here?!
That used to be such a simple thing to buy! I have three working lamps at the moment, the rest need bulbs of different types... but I just can't remember which to get when at the store
