Well, no. We remember the good things but don't tend to remember the bad. Like the time my VCR ate my copy of Star Trek III. Or that tapes would wear out, bad spots would creep in.
I've yet to have any of those things happen to my DVD's or Blu-ray's.
I'll gladly take my Star Trek in 1080p any day of the week over the old days of VHS/Betamax. It doesn't mean those formats don't hold a special place in my heart, because they do. But I'm not going to live my life in the 1980's.
I won't tell you I paid $1.87 a gallon yesterday to fill up, it's been below $2 for almost a month here.I just paid $1.19 a gallon for gas. We earn bonus points at our supermarket and collected enough to earn $1.40 off a gallon of gas. So I ran down the Odyssey to almost empty and filled her up with 20 gallons. Total cost $24.00, which is a quarter of what it normally cost to fill her up.
