Your latest purchases, cont.

Just got the new mini version of Julie from American Girl. Also have the new mini versions of Samantha and Addy on pre-order.

:bolian:

I bought Rebecca (full size) a couple months ago. I'm so glad I didn't wait, because I don't like the new outfits on the historical dolls. Rebecca's new accessories don't even have anything to do with her story.

I'm not planning to collect AG, but I will eventually get one more. I want a My American Girl who resembles Rebecca, to be her great-granddaughter.

Yeah, I'm not overly thrilled with the re-designs, but for the little dolls it's okay. I'm mostly mad that they dumped Ivy. :(

The three mini Julies- old on the left, new in the middle, holiday (limited edition) on the right.

The faces on the new dolls seem to be narrower.

They look good. My mom always loved the American Girl dolls and I'm sure she'd be very interested in seeing the newest ones, however extensively they've been redesigned.

Today I found some brand-new Star Wars figures I didn't already have and are just starting to hit retail.

Bought Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Agents of SHIELD season one, the Star Trek Compendium and the first 2 seasons of Supernatural. All on blu-ray.

Bougth four pieces of something called smørrebrød (lit: buttered bread, but most commonly translated into open faced sandwiches; sample) for my dinner yesterday.

Then I went to have a drink with mum and we became a bit peckish... good thing I had already bought dinner :p

Yeah, the face does look a bit narrower. Do you collect just the minis?

Nope. I have most of the big ones, too. I've been collecting for almost 20 years. I have all the historical dolls except Kaya, Caroline, Marie-Grace, Rebecca, and Ruthie. My favorites are Julie and Ivy, Felicity, Samantha, and Josephina. I love them all, but those five are the ones I love the most! :p

Latest purchase: Sennheiser HD418 headphones. Obviously not top of the line (who has $200 for headphones), but WOW, they're good! I'm very pleased.
