Co-pay at the doctor & a batch of antibiotics. Apparently I have an infection on my tonsils that tests negative (86% accurate) for strep, but might as well be as I'm still contagious. It's not as bad as last time I had strep though, so I think the test was probably right. Still, I know my throat hurts when I pass up Coke for water with a meal. I had Coke with lunch and it killed, so tonight it's nice smooth ice water. Also I'm chewing things to mush rather than having something hurt to swallow.

On the plus side, I'm out of work tomorrow while the antibiotics kick in. I'll regret it when I go back, but I'm going to enjoy the break while it lasts!
