Groceries for the week!
Real bacon, hamburger, hot dogs and sausage (etc)... are all banned in my house. We've got to eat something!
The veggie bacon is nothing like bacon, but Yves veggie hamburgers are impressive.
That sounds like a slapstick comedy routine waiting to happen!
Some lunch and soda at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro. Enjoyed it with several of my very close friends.
Bought three of my favorite Donna Summer songs off of Amazon.
I was feeling very nostalgic.
Another panama hat.
Dinner (burrito and chips at the local taco truck.)
A new laundry hamper.
In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson
A birthday card for my brother.
A gift card for my brother.
A Father's Day card for my dad.
A large iced-tea lemonade.
A vegetable grilling slat for my grill.
I just bought $227 in groceries, really didn't seem like it was that much (quantity) at all.
Some lunch at a fast food joint.
We just bought a 1945 Westinghouse radio. Why, you ask? It is so, so, so cool!
^Pictures or we won't believe it
(It's one of those fancy ones that look a bit like a toaster, if you know what I mean, is it?)
I spend the equivalent of 50$ on three cans of air today
And I bought a 3 TB HDD (well, 2.73 TB actually) Now I can move data from two HDDs of half that size onto the new one and have room for another of similar size
Some breakfast biscuits. Didn't feel like cooking breakfast this morning.
Soundtracks for The Hunger Games and The Avengers. The scores, not the songs.
Tempted to pre-order the Hot Toys Hawkeye...but that's a little out of my price range. I'll settle for the 7-inch figure.
Feeling too lazy to look back when I last posted in this thread, but it's been a busy couple of weeks of shopping. New spare pair of glasses, new lenses in my regular pair, a few alterations on some older clothes, some new pairs of trousers and shirts, and of course, all the usual groceries and petrol. Haven't had to spend so much, so quickly, in a while. But that should be it all out of the way now, for a while anyway.
Four boat fenders from Costco.ca
About 65 bucks worth of groceries.
One of my recent purchases was actually some eggs and English muffins so I could make my own breakfast sandwiches. Husband was pleasantly surprised by breakfast this morning.
^Particularly good when they are home made.
My latest purchase was a "Timmies" coffee for my morning drive.
