DRAMA:
TNG S1 thru S6 - just great & consistent entertainment.
DS9 S5 & S6 - good balance between standalones and building war arc
Babylon 5 S2 & S3 - ditto. S3 was just balls to the wall epic
American Gothic S1 - Sheriff Lucas Buck remains one of the best antiheroes ever
Lois & Clark S1 - they should never have removed Lex from his S1 role
X-Files S1 - great balance between arc & standalone, and everything was fresh
House of Cards S1 & S2 - simply brilliant; FU is beyond antihero into all-time legend
COMEDY:
Frasier S1 & S2 - deliciously smart and funny, before it became too farce-focused
Friends S1, S3, S6, S7 - say what you like about the series, I lol'ed hard during these seasons.
Red Dwarf S2 thru S6 - best TV sci-fi comedy seasons ever
Spaced S1 & S2 - i.e. its entire run.
Blackadder S2, S3 - both the Elizabethan & Georgian settings were inspired fun
Scrubs S1 - the series rapidly went off the boil afterwards
Yes Minister S1, 2 & Yes Prime Minister S1 & 2 - political satire masterclass
I also want to include bits of Simpsons, Family Guy, Star Trek, Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, and several other series, but I can never remember which episodes are from which season, so can't pick them!
