Don't know if anyone here was a fan...Les Lye, who played most of the adult roles, has died at age 84.

OMG... Christine McGlade is 45! How the hell did that happen? I had no idea the show was that old when I watched it with my son in the 80s. I see she's now a producer for the same Canadian network that made YCDTOTV.

 

I remember being on a kick and looking up old videos a few years ago. The random slimings are pretty quaint now.

 

I had a kick just a few months ago and looked up some old YCDTOT clips. Man that show was funny and it was a good part of my childhood. Can't believe this year is the 30th anniversary of it and most of this current generation probably has never heard of it.

One of my favorite shows as a kid. I used to love watching it after school on Nickelodeon. Les Lye was really great at all those different characters he used to play, my favorites being Lance Prevert and Barth. RIP

Anyone else ever check out the official website at http://www.ycdtotv.com/ ? There is a section where you can see what some of the cast looks like today and what they've been doing since the show.

 

Sorry to hear that. Man, I haven't seen this show in years. A DVD release would be nice.
