wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

^Oh completely. I personally believe that he hasn't belonged anywhere near on-screen since probably about 1999. So, I don't appreciate him being shoe-horned into a main event angle where he doesn't belong in 2011-12 and failing to give us any sort of payoff because he couldn't be medically cleared.

And also, I'm allowed to blame him for something he fully admits is his fault. He and/or his doctor(s) didn't have the foresight to go "Hey, this might not be the best idea ever." before he showed up randomly and powerbombed Punk for what at the end of the angle appears to be no good reason what-so-ever.

While I personally sympathize with him for his dad pass away way too young, I don't think he should anywhere near the main event in this day and age.

I think Nash is partly to blame (along with the other usual suspects) in the down fall of WCW) not sure if we can blame him for anything while he was in TNA, he seems to have kept his nose clean there, and has criticized the company since he left. I love the Bret/Nash feud
and I believe both men are still friends. Nash was who he wrestled for what ended up being the last time on Nitro for the World Title. It was a really good match, it would have been a borderline three star match if it weren't for the run in's that ruined it, and I think Bret turned full heel during the end of it. Can't remember.

You know, to be perfectly honest I never saw any of his work while he was with TNA. A good 90% of my opinion of him comes solely from WCW.

I tend to avoid the TNA product like the plague. In the time I've been aware of TNA as a concept in regards to wrestling I've only heard of them handling two wrestling talents any better than WWE handled them. That was Christian and Gail Kim. TNA as far as I'm concerned has managed to fuck-up just about everything else they've had handed to them.

But, I should stop before I go another anti-TNA/iMPACT diatribe that no one wants to read.

I know there's not a whole lot of overwhelming interest in it around here, but they might have to scrap the Divas match because Maria Menounos is injured. I thought she did a great job in her two previous appearances with the WWE and I was looking forward to seeing what she could do this time around. She is staying on DWTS, so hopefully she'll be able to still work 'Mania as well, even in a limited capacity.

^Dang it, I was sincerely looking forward to that too.

Maybe they can turn it into a Divas title match. Here's hoping.

I'm hoping that Maria will still be at 'Mania even if she can't work the match. I also don't think they'll scrap it entirely even if she can't compete and will just replace her with someone.

That sucks about Maria...maybe this will still leave room for Trish Vs Beth? I doubt it. Seems Vince has no interest in singles DIVAS matches right now.

There was absolutely no mention of Maria's injury on RAW and they were still promoting her involvement at 'Mania, so unless there's a last-minute change on Sunday, it sounds like the match is still going to happen, which makes me happy.

Or Maria will go but in a limited capacity, I expect Kelly Kelly to take on the bulk of their match if the injury is severe enough.

That's more than likely what's going to happen, which is disappointing given how much I was looking forward to seeing a progression of her in-ring skills, but there's nothing anyone can do about the physical limitations that come with a couple of broken ribs, which is what Maria's dealing with. You do have to give her props for continuing to compete on DTWS and, it appears, at 'Mania, though.

Agreed on Christian and especially Gail Kim. But, yeah, everybody else that migrates over to TNA gets boned. They've even managed to fuck up Sting! Sting, for god's sake! I don't care whose idea the Joker Sting gimmick was, it happened under the TNA banner and is therefore their fault. Nevermind the fact that I think Sting, my all-time favorite pro wrestler, should've quit somewhere between 1998 and '99. What's become of him lately has been nothing short of a disgrace.

He's still a damn good in-ring performer and mic guy, and I say that as someone who has honestly never been a huge fan of his, and has quite frankly found him to be kind of overrated. I have absolutely nothing against his career, and he's worked some brilliant matches over the years. He's just not one of my favorites.

I thought the Dudley Boys (excuse me, Team 3D) had a pretty good run, speaking solely in terms of guys who came from WWE. Ray has been having a pretty stellar singles run over the past several months, too. He's been one of the sole, consistent high spots in TNA over the past twelve months.

I had no problem with Nash making an appearance on the main-event scene. Would I put him there for more than a night? Hell no, but I thought he handled himself fine. He and Triple H gave a match that was surprisingly excellent, and a lot better than anything from their disastrous feud in 2004 (I think it was 2004? 2003? I'm too lazy to look it up).

No real comment on the Divas match, but that is a shame about Maria. I like her.

I still maintain he should have signed with WWE...TNA used him no better than Vince would have. Basically, it seemed to me he got an automatic title run again and then the whole Joker Sting gimmick which was brutal and he was being used as a plot device to turn Hogan face again!! Cornette face!!!

WWE.com confirms Flair's appearance at the HOF ceremony. I guess we're not getting Savage this year which would really suck I think for a lot of fans who thought this would be a slam dunk and is only going to fuel rumours that something is behind Vince's non decision to do this.

Christian has been scratched from the card for 28, I feel bad for the guy, he'd already been out for like four months prior to this. I gotta be honest here, I'm not feeling 28. The only match I have a marginal interest in is Punk/Jericho. The rest of the card while huge on paper gets a meh from me. I'll have my predictions up later this week.

Finally speaking of Christian, Edge says if he was able to go until his contract expired, he would have likely have faced Christian at 28, which would have been interesting, no doubt Edge would have still been World Champion at this point...or ironically the match would still not happen since Christian is injured again.

I remember when Christian first re-signed with WWE and the scenarios being proposed for his re-debut...

1) Christian would cost Jeff Hardy the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble and reveal he was the one who attacked Jeff Hardy. This would lead to a match where he and Edge would face the Hardy brothers at Wrestlemania.

2) Matt Hardy would cost Jeff the title at Royal Rumble and join forces with Edge. Jeff would reveal Christian as his tag team partner for the match at Wrestlemania, creating a unique pair of tag teams.

Of course, the bigwigs then decided to humble Christian for daring to find fame elsewhere (TNA) by re-debuting him with little hype on ECW. The only reason Christian got the chance at being world champion was because creative couldn't ignore his workrate any longer. Had Edge not been forced to retire, it's very likely that they would have feuded over the WHC.

There could be many reasons why WWE aren't inducting Savage this year. I've given this some thought and come to the possible conclusion that WWE don't want to be seen as if they are "profiting" from the recently deceased as to which they have recieved criticism from in the past (Eddie Guerrero). Sure, the induction of Savage would be about honouring his accomplishments and successes in wrestling, but the fact that WWE advertises the show (and the inductees) in order to sell tickets and attract TV ratings could be percieved the wrong way.

Yeah I was upset with how WWE chose to reintroduce Christian after he resigned...there was a lot of hype for his WWE return, at least by the fans. He has (with the exception of the two small World Title reigns) has been used exactly how he was before pretty much. Hate to say it...but TNA knew how to use Christian effectively and increased his stardom. I loved him in TNA. Now he's back to mediocre Christian.

Yeah but how likely is a World Title reign? There was heavy speculation that the only reason why Christian got his first one was because Edge asked a favour. I don't know if this is true or not, but that was what was making the rounds in the dirt sheets. I think he got hurt the first time with his second reign?
