Yes, that confirms what I said.

He's in the yellow, he never goes into those 3 blue areas. I never realized but that seems to be more of a handicap for the Thralls, he can stay at the end of one of the yellow stripes and while two can reach him, the third never would be able to. He could isolate one opponent.

Did you look at the screencap? His left foot is partially in the "bluish-green" whatever color it is. He is out of the yellow, if only a little. A violation of the rules.

Yes, his foot is on the blue stripe, but he is not stepping out of the yellow area. He stays in the yellow the whole time even if he's on the edge, he never runs around the whole field.

Plus, that penalty is not as drastic as some would make it out to be. There's weapons all about.

And the Andorian has a Lirpa, maybe they've captured Vulcans before?

As Science Officer, Spock really should know the difference between a beaker and an Erlenmeyer flask, should he not?

Or then he would have logically abandoned the nonsensical distinction. A piece of glassware is a piece of glassware is a piece of glassware. And if it has got a beak...

Honestly, the thing wasn't even used as an Erlenmeyer. It was just a fancy mug for a magic potion.

You need to look at the screencap again. The Andorian has the same type of staff weapon that Kirk has.

    :alienblush: D'oh!

    I see it now, thanks!

The Lirpa has a big heavy kind of mace end, not the three hooks. What fooled me was the other end. I see the green girl has one, too. That must be a standard weapon of theirs.

It is. They train with it regularly. IIRC, Tamoon's weapon is the one Shahna grabs to join in after Kirk gets Kloog killed.

Great, now I have to watch it again. Well, no, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Best WTF moments in "The Gamesters of Triskellion" are the scenes with Angelique Pettyjohn and her beautiful tin foil bikini.

He should of course, but we the Audience most likely do not. I didn't. Not back when I watched it at least.

    I know the difference:
Beaker is Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's assistant.
A beaker can be full of death.
An Erlenmeyer flask has alien hybrid embryos in it and gets Deep Throat killed.

Not only that but Vanna is probably dating some Troglyte stud. But I get the sense that Droxine was unattached. Surely she'd be interested in a handsome, rugged offworlder . . . .

I know I'd have to take on old Cloudy Bill! Gulp! A few years back when I'd be out in the town one afternoon I'd see a lady that caught my eye out with her boyfriend and I used to think then that if I wanted a shot at her then I'd have to take him on and boy did he look fit! :ack:
