You can tell because you can see STV trees in the background over the mountains. It looks like this is the tainted scar in blasted lands, as we know the Worgen are moving in there
Zoinks! Gonna be hard getting into SW while he's squatting there. Might have to move my toons to IF for a few days. 
SW looks the same though. I guess I was expecting it to look... updated or something. Or maybe this is just for the Alpha and updated models are still in the works.
I hope whatever they have planned is as awesomely fun as the Zombie Infestation was.
And speaking of getting places, it just dawned on me that they'll have to put some sort of transport mechanism into place to get the Worgen all the way from their peninsula to their new Quarter in SW. Can't have lvl 1 wolfmen running all the way to IF on foot after all. Goblins too I guess.

i doubt you'd see deathwing just sitting in the valley of heroes like that.
that would make sense, but according to Christ Metzen:
They most likely way they will handle this is to have a quest that ports you to SW or IF to retrieve something. Once there you'll end up with a quest to get the flightpoints in town.
This is only an alpha version, we'll probably get a lot of new ground and building textures as we move closer to a beta. Then hopefully as we near release they'll have done a lot of revamping on those textures. Deathwing looks great, the water is decent too (with that new water effect they added) but everything else feels out of place which led many people to think it was fake initially.
Maybe Deathwing menaces the major cities just like Kruul did when the Dark Portal opened. /shrug.
It's a neat work of photoshopping otherwise.

i dont doubt it is a legit model. i do not believe that deathwing is just hanging out in the stormwind capital (as some sort of launch event).

Someone just swapped their model with his in a sandbox version. There's a reason there's no NPCs or other signs of life around, and that he's just standing there posing. The most telling thing is the (tiny) nametag on top of the model in the photo.
Well I'm playing again. 
I leveled my shaman from 71-76 doing AV runs over the weekend. If only we could win more than %30 of games in my battle group! You get 3x more exp for winning than losing.
It's still pretty efficient even if you lose- about 300k xp/hour if all you are doing is losing, or about 600k xp/hour if you win half the games. The most I've ever gotten questing was about 500k xp/hour and that's in Sholazar basin or certain parts of Borean Tundra. (I use TitanXP to generate these figures)
PS- these figures are for holiday weekend which is double honor/XP.
