Would you have liked a season 8?

A Voyager movie might well have been good.

The story was over. What exactly would a Voyager movie be about anyway?

Endgame was the logical conclusion to the story started in Caretaker. I, for one, didn't need a season about their homecoming and lack of adventures in the Alpha Quadrant.

It would explain what happened between Endgame and Janeway becoming an Admiral in Nemesis.

Also what would have happened to Chakotay and Torres? Would they have been tried for their crimes in the Marquis? Or exhonerated for their services to Voyager?

Exciting stuff there to hang either season eight or a major motion picture on. I've said it before and I'll say it again: having them come home was detrimental to Star Trek: Voyager. It cut the ability to tell any interesting future stories off at the knees.

Pocket Books had to finally send them back to the Delta Quadrant in Full Circle and Unworthy to get any mileage out of the license post-Endgame.

Caretaker should have come back from the dead Borg for the finale.

Using the wrong actress for queen shat on Voyager.

It was obvious that the last story was going to need Suzie and they could have paid a retainer booking the lady for the gig 2 maybe three years in advance because they were fools not to anticipate how lacking they were in imagination.

If Mulgrew caught Mono and couldn't film the last episodes, would it have been swell to stick Picard on Voyager's bridge and bring her home?

It's like when you're shagging your wife but you shut your eyes pretending that she is her better looking sister during your vinegar stare... No, sotrry. It's like when you're having an affair with your wifes sister but you shut your eyes to pretend it's still your wife and you're not 4 and half inches deep into second best.

I wanted to watch one last Voyager, but they gave one last TNG instead, which became par for the course on the shenanigans they play come the final episode of Enterprise too.

Stop thinking about your sisterinlaw jumping rope in a teddy

Maybe not, but it would be a start.

Please, don't even mention Pocket Books. They have screwed up all what was left of Voyager and ruined what Berman and his people forgot to ruin.

Of course it would have been possible to have the old favorite characters back on Voyager and have the ship as some sort of task force in and around Federation space. It wouldn't have been necessary to send them back to the Delta Quadrant. There is lot of room for exciting adventures in the Alpha, Beta and Gamma Quadrant.

Actually, I found Full Circle/Unworthy the first truly interesting Voyager stories since season four.
