They should have ended it by getting a distress call from the ECS Kobayashi Maru, and flying off to the rescue. Cut to credits.
I wonder if Disco, or a Disco spinoff, could take a shot at fixing TATV somehow? T'Pol should still be alive, yes?
Best way to fix it is to ignore it. The Terra Prime two parter is fantastic.I wonder if Disco, or a Disco spinoff, could take a shot at fixing TATV somehow? T'Pol should still be alive, yes?
Just have Captain Lorien serving in Starfleet. That should say it all.I wonder if Disco, or a Disco spinoff, could take a shot at fixing TATV somehow? T'Pol should still be alive, yes?

The implication being Trip survived and he and T'Pol had a version of Lorien anyway. By the time of Disco he would be about the same age as he was in "E2"But he was from an alternate reality!
How does this track? How does an episode's placement in release order affect how poorly it is received? Spock's Brain, A Night in Sickbay, Shades of Grey, and Threshold are still much maligned to this day.TATV would definitely be less hated if it wasn't the last episode of the series but it wouldn't have made much sense.

And "SPOCK'S BRAIN" and "Shades Of Gray" was a season premiere and finale, respectively. I think that also still is a factor, at least for those episodes.
Plus, there are some entertaining things about the former, and the latter we know some of the behind the scenes reasons why that was produced. So they get some form of a pass. With "THRESHOLD", it DID get VOYAGER an Emmy for makeup, so it brought something to the franchise.
I can't think of one good thing about TATV.
The issue I've got with Enterprise is simply the lazy writing, the bringing in of obvious 24th century aliens (Borg, etc.) and the rehashing of old TNG / Voy and to a lesser extent DS-9 storylines..It didn't get it's proper footing until season 3 and didn't begin it's proper line until Season 4...what we as fans wanted was "the birth of the Federation" meeting those species we all knew and loved from TOS and following.. these only existed as crumbs and throwaway lines until Season 4... Then the powers that be, decided to end the series with a real turdburger of an episode in which nothing made sense!! right up there with "Shades of Grey" and "And the Children Shall Lead". And we didn't even get to hear Archer's speech... lazy writing at it's best.
T'Pol's hair looked nice.
