Fire Berman.I did not see an Enterprise NX-01 in that display cabinet.
Hey, that's really novel. I'd be down with a non-corporeal Borg. The Borg should be treated like a computer virus that takes over ships, downloads peoples memories into the computer virus as Data. They have evolved beyond the need for ships and drones. They exists now as pure data that is still absorbing information from species and cultures. They then destroy the ships and people's bodies afterwards to stop any kind of counter resistance to them.
I generally don't like the Borg, but I could be ok with this. The traditional enemy Borg-Queen Borg? Hell no, let Picard be the end of them.
The Jurati Borg, as Federation members? Yes, please.
I agree on this point.I always just go "what's the story?" If the story is good, sure! It's not enough to just say they should appear.
I always just go "what's the story?" If the story is good, sure! It's not enough to just say they should appear. There should be an element of reinvention and distillation of their core and I don't buy into the idea of overuse or over exposure. People were saying they were overdone back in 2003 and then "Regeneration" delivered the best Borg episode in a long while.
No!
I don't want to see the Borg again. Not ever.
They were finished in TNG when Hugh and the Wimp Queen showed up. Then they had lost everything that made them interesting.
Maybe that. But he (or she, or s/he, or it) would by definition be an ex-Borg, like Hugh, or Seven.. . . at least one Borg sitting there among the Ferengi and Caitians, getting taught about Chief O'Brien and the Boimler Effect . . . .
