Which TNG film is the worst?

All the movies are just like all of the TV sereis.

Just individual chapters in the Big Book Of The Next Generation.

And now all we have are the post Nemesis books.

Why worry about the worst or the best, when the overal rating is:

Five Stars Excellent

Ya, Nemesis for me as well. That one just crapped all over TNG.
INS is okay, FC great, Generations, oddly, gets worse every time I watch it.

Couldn't disagree more. Generations is by far the better TNG movie. It actually has a great narrative, and themes to it, and I don't mean musically. Shatner was great, and Tolian Soren was far more interesting, and a better actor I might say, than some horny Borg woman who was totally raping the canon of Trek the entire way...

The worst TNG movie, by far, in terms of Box office ,and TREK fans reception, has to be Nemesis. It didn't even make as much as V, even with higher ticket costs.\

Nemesis is what killed the golden goose. Insurrection landed it in the frying pan...Nemesis wrapped TNG in a blanket of tin-foil, placed it into a microwave oven, on full power for five hours...POOF! went TNG, and the Berman movie era was torpedoed! All because FC blew chunks!

Insurrection. At least Nemesis tried to feel like a movie, and not like a two-parter.

Still, I rewatch them all from time to time - they are all entertaining.

Today I'm voting for Insurrection, because I'm annoyed by it's trite social commentary, the insipid and dispicably self-involved Ba'ku, and the assumption that if you telegraph the "goodies" and the "baddies" loudly enough for the audience, we'll go happily along without questioning whether there are other angles to this issue which really ought to be explored.

Tomorrow I'll go back to hating Nemesis more, because of it's canon rape and the fact that its plot makes absolutely no sense.

I wish they'd go ahead and make a new Next Gen film which was both morally offensive and flagrantly disregarded fans' investment in the franchise. Then I wouldn't have to deal with this dilemma every time the question of the worst movie comes up. :(

Because I like the Kirk-Picard dynamic that the Shatnerverse features. And since I have no pics from there, I used this one from GEN.

OK?

I couldn't agree more! It's like the writters forgot how to write so the re-hashed an old tng episode.

Since I still haven't made myself see NEM, I had to vote Insurrection. I remember walking out of the theater and telling my mom I thought it was...corny...

Generations...............

will never see that movie again unless they do a re-cut
not that the re-cut would make it much better, I'd just be interested in what they did.

Only 2 votes for GEN? Really now, am I the only one who finds it the most offensive Trek before VOY or ENT ever embraced the small screen?

I agree it's the most offensive, I was very close to voting on it just out of principle because of what they did to good 'ol Captain Kirk.

But I think Nemesis & Insurrection are the worst. At least Generations has some TOS-crew moments.

If I did a "Best TNG Film" thread, it would most likely end with FC as the winner. So, I instead did a more, shall we say, challenging thread.

So, which TNG film is the worst?

Did anyone notice the title of this post is spelt wrong?

I think Insurrection is the worst. While I enjoy it, I don't think it lived up to the other three.

Nemesis. Insurrection isn't far behind at all - it's a photo finish, really - but Nemesis is just an abomination on every level and demonstrates very clearly that Trek actors should have no involvement whatsoever in movie storylines.
