Worst TNG Episode Ever?

Unless it's on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Now they can make a clip show!

I love the Royale! It's the bees knees!

Especially this guy

"Shades of Grey" from Season 2.

There are other bad episodes, some essentially unwatchable to me (I'm looking at you, "The Last Outpost"), but the above takes the cake. I simply can't stand clip-shows. If you're not going to make a proper episode, then don't bother making one at all.
I agree. I can't stand clip shows

My vote goes to Sub Rosa. However, I must admit I'm not a big fan of Season 1 and rarely watch it. But because I watch it so rarely I'm not familiar enough with the episodes to choose either a worse or a favorite. But from season 2 on, really the only episode I don't watch is Sub Rosa.

Season 7 has some great episodes but I think it has most of TNG's worst episodes. All those long lost brother, long lost son episodes..To this day I still haven't been able to motivate myself to watch " Sub Rosa" or "Masks". Life is too short.

Imaginary Friend is total shit. Sub Rosa is a close second. The one where Crusher is trying to figure out who killed the Ferengi scientist was also terrible, terrible. I haven't seen any of those episodes since they first aired. Theyre just dreadful dross dripping in blandness and embarrassment.

What about the one where the Enterprise was growing nodes and some new kind of life form was evolving out of the Enterprise itself?

The Royale for a very specific reason. It's not a bad episode. But I went through this 2 or 3 year period where every single time I'd think to tune into a TNG rerun on TV I would end up with The Royale 95% or at least it felt that way. I really grew to hate it!

I will NOT watch Frame of Mind, not because it's a bad episode but because it's too upsetting. As far as episodes where the production process (writing, acting) exc is what made them undesirable, I'd have to go with Code of Honor.

Clearly, the aliens who control your environment made a mistake by assuming that you'd like to watch it on an endless loop.

Back in the VHS days whenever a TNG rerun was on TV often it would be something like "Booby Trap" or "Samaritan Snare" and it felt much like that endless loop.

I don't mind Booby Trap though, that's a good episode. But that other one I wish could be erased from eternity.

Completely off topic, but I like your avatar, Tetragrammaton Invictus. That movie has an incredibly funky theme song.

That theme song is what helped me find the movie when I first heard it.

It's a fun movie.

Also from the same era Planet Of The Vampires, which makes me feel like watching Alien, just for me had that same kind of vibe.
