Worst Main Cast Character in Any ST TV Series

I do find Jake boring in a way but I don't dislike him.

Yes, he could have been a lot worse. I think I might have liked him more if he hadn't worn such terrible clothes. It's hard to do serious acting in a romper suit.

he was more than just the repressed Brit stereotype americans love.
That's the reason he's always really annoyed me, far too much of a stereotype.

And of course, there was Hayes and Hayes/Reed and.. it all got rather special.
If they actually had the guts to give us the steamy Hayes/Reed romance we all know was going on then it would've been something interesting with the character.

I'm surprised (but happy :) ) Than no one mentioned Ezri yet. People intent to talk badly about her character. I guess i'll never know why. I love her.

Better than top 10.

teacake's top 7 characters, not in order of pref:

Kirk
Janeway
7
EMH
Ezri
NuSpock
Quark

EMH is one off my favorites too, i think i actually look like him a lot (in personalty aspects only since i have a lot of hair ) But yes... I look like him :)

Love Ezri too! Shame we only got her for a single season.

Yeah! As much as i liked Jadzia, i never felt she was a good character... She never got my attention, and i actually find her quite annoying and unrealistic... I mean... She was just "to perfect" for someone who needed do deal with 7 lifetimes... Ezri, on the other hand, was AWAY better, more believable, more challenging, and more beautiful (in my humble opinion) :).

I like Ezri!

I must admit that I didn't like that Jadzia was killed off and the actress kicked out or whatever.

But I like Ezri. My only objection is that she shouldn't have been a Dax but a different character. The way they came up with this plot was like pouring salt in the wounds of the Jadzia fans.

I must also admit that I didn't watch DS9's last season until a couple of years after it was aired, due to stupid politics of one of my TV channels. In fact, I didn't watch that season until last year on DVD so the worst storm had faded then.

Well I only did one watch through of ENT. Teacake, I'll keep an eye out for Reed when I do a rewatch!! I did enjoy a few episodes with him, but for some reason I was left with the feeling that a few of the characters were a bit on the dull side. But I will definitely watch again and give it another shot. :D :D

She was kicked out?! I thought she left voluntarily?

Dude, why would they kick out an actress after 6 years? That does not even make sense.

If they did, I am seriously disappointed with the producers.

Her contract was up and she had a better paying job offer, with better billing. It was a professional decision to leave instead of renewing for a one year contract.

She was on Becker for six (six?) years.

.

I saw Tony in a sitcom where Mr Todd played an exaggerated version of himself.

He kept talking in the first person.

Except he didn't call himself "Tony".

It was "Candyman wants a beer!" "Candyman wants lasagne!" "Candyman want's your girlfriend!"
