I would pick Shades of Gray because it's just a lame clip show... but the original content in the episode is actually quite good. So my vote goes to Code of Honor.

I almost voted for Code of honor, but at least it had an original story rather than the re-hashed clip show .... Shades of Grey

How in the blue hell did "Dark Page" not get on that list?

"Dark Page" didn't even make it to the second round for Season Seven, which was a bit of a surprise to me. I've seen a lot of negative comments about that episode, although personally I think it's pretty good.

As I say constantly Im a real hater of the whole "aliens who look like humans" thing, but Code of Honor wasn't THAT bad, if you ignore that fact.

Cost of Living therefore takes the cake.

Aquiel and Force of Nature were actually ok.

Agreed

Cost of Living was a Jump the Shark moment or perhaps JUMPED the shark

Horrible episode that was a nail in the coffin for Trek

More people need to vote for Code of Honor, right away. There is no way, in this universe, that Shades of Grey is worse than The Yareena and Lutan Divorce Hour. :scream:

Well, that's cool. I'd read somewhere that the writers seemed like they "forgot they were writing science fiction some of the time" near the end of TNG, and Dark Page seemed like one of them. It actually made Lwakx  Troi easier to take when she was on the ship being slutty. Comic Relief. And then Deanna's sister ends up being.... Mary Jane Parker??? WTF

I guess that's why everyone here seems to hate Cost of Living so much... she spent a lot of time naked, in a mud bath, etc.

Code of Honor... I frickkin' love that one. Because it's stupid. I think it might be the "Spock's Brain" of TNG.

BUDDY: "You will have NO VACCINE and NO LT. YAR!!"
PICARD: "Really? Really can I have no Lt. Yar? Oh, marmalade."

It was probably stories like that that led Denise to quit.
I love bad Star Trek as much as good Star Trek, though. :rommie:

PS. The oil foot massage scene in The Price??? Holy resequenced shits. :brickwall:

The poll has closed and Code of Honor has edged out Shades of Gray as TrekBBS's least favorite episode of TNG. For those interested, the overall poll with Code of Honor as TNG's representative is now up in General Trek. Thank you to everyone who participated.

After a couple of months of voting to determine the TrekBBS's least favorite episode from each season, we have now reached the end. The seven episodes that were voted worst from each season are listed - please select your LEAST favorite. The episode receiving the most votes will be named TrekBBS's least favorite episode of TNG and will go against the least favorites from the other series to determine an overall winner (or loser, depending on how you look at it). Thanks for your participation!

Inner Light- nope that''s most over rated

I'd go with Cost of Living
Sub Rosa also is heinous

I think Code of Honor is considered Racist because it portrays a planet full of only black people, that act exactly like the stereotype of african tribes.

I like it for it's comical value, so it's not the worst for me. The worst would have to be that lame attempt at a "homosexual rights" episode, with all the Lesbians who have to be drugged to "fit into society". It's hard to crap out bigger shits than this. If they wanted to do a gay episode, they should have just done it instead of this silly prancing around it. (It's even stupider that at the end Riker find out that she's been "drugged" into submission. Ah.....buddy, why don't you take her by force, and when the drug wears out, she'll realize that you did her a favour? LOL)

Shades of Grey is just boring, but I like the "reflexes of Data" scene, the only good thing in the entire episode.
