Worst Episode of DS9: Season One Part One

I'm on a quest to find out what the TrekBBS thinks is the worst episode of Trek ever. Why? It's in this thread. Here are the rules:

For each season there will be one round where you can vote for your three least favorite episodes. The top five vote getters will then be presented to the membership to pick their least favorite.

Once a worst from each season has been selected, a worst from the entire series will be voted on. When that has been done, I'll conduct a poll in General Trek to decide the TrekBBS's Least Favorite.

Pick your THREE least favorites from DS9 Season One.

"Past Prologue", "The Passenger" and "The Nagus".

On to Voyager, I guess ... ;)

Heh...you could save yourself alot of time and just have us pick between:

Move Along Home
Profit and Lace
The Storyteller
The Passenger
If Wishes Were Horses
Fascination

:p

Move Along Home almost stopped me from watching any further episodes in the series. I just finished "Tears of the Prophets", so I'm glad I continued on. Still...Move Along Home. No thanks...

Don't forget:

Let He Who is Without Sin...
Meridian
The Muse
Ferengi Love Songs
Family Business
Looking for Par'Mach in All the Wrong Places
Melora
Extreme Measures
Second Sight

^ Well, we are not talking about all the bad ones. Only the ones which are likely to win the title of WORST.

And while I agree with you that Let He Who is Without Sin should have been on my list...the others, while bad, would never get WORST episode in this forum.

I mean, we have only run this contest about 50 times in the 5+ years I've been mod in here. One of a handful of the 'usual suspect' episodes is almost a forgone conclusion. ;)

Same, by the way, with a 'best episode' poll. Another contest that has been run a billion times in here...and I don't think we have ever gotten a result other than In The Pale Moonlight.

"A Man Alone" - It's just odd and the guy leading the mob is annoying.

"The Passenger" - Hooray everybody it's an alien possession episode! ... I'm sure that if Alexander Siddig saw his acting as Vantika-possessed Bashir now, he'd be less than pleased

"If Wishes Were Horses" - The people on DS9 sure seem to have dull imaginations... Fantasizing about a couple of birds running around. Except Odo ofcourse.

Move Along Home (Kalamarain! Count to...)

Dax (a trial episode...resorting to stock cliche plots so soon...how sad)

The Forsaken (The pup probe thing was just lame...plus Lwaxana Troi...a guest we could've done without.)

There were so many icky episodes in the first season...but the one's that really irk me are Move Along Home, Babel and Nagus.

Josie

Q-less, Storyteller, If Wishes were Horses... all boring (which in my opinion is the worst sin of a TV show) and failed to capture my attention.

Dramatis Personae
Babel
The Nagus

Harder that I thought-because there are too many candidates! :D

Dishonorable mention goes to...
Move Along Home
If Wishes Were Horses
The Passenger
