That's tight, The Commodore 64 was released this month thirty years ago
I didn't have the funds to get one before it was a built-in feature of the Commodore 128, but I did play with it whenever I could get my fingers on it -was A LOT more fun than the computers I'd been playing with before; circuit-boards with Hex-keyboards and 16-segment led-output
and/or BIIIG machines where I had access only to a telex-type terminal and then only during the computing class I took one evening per week (yeah, I'm that old!).
It -of course- was the 'gaming console' of those days -especially because you could store your games on ordinary compact-cassettes (normally used for audio back then) and you could always get a copy of a game from your friends. Plus the 'datasette' was a lot cheaper than (floppy)disc-drives.
I have many fond memories of gaming all night with a bunch of friends -sometimes we would decide to take just one more game even if the sun was up and we'd be late for school
Have you any fond memories of the C=64?
