I'm guessing I'd have to take out a second mortgage to afford the thing.
Yup!That's a damn trippy wallpaper.
Is it official?
They're reportedly considering a digital movie ticket, quasi a 48-hour digital rental, not putting it on HBO Max.That would be better. Plus, this will force people into HBO Max, which only makes sense to people who have HBO if they can get out of their HBO contract.
I don't think it's the viewers as much as the shareholders who are antsy. Dow sunk 900 points again today.Yeah seriously. Goddamn people just be patient and let us see it in a proper theater.
My only problem with this is we have no idea when the theaters will actually open back up.Yeah seriously. Goddamn people just be patient and let us see it in a proper theater.

This one seems a bit excessive to me though, this isn't due out until June, so there's time to wait and see how things look as we get closer to that point.
EDIT: I read the article now, and apparently the concern is over how competitive things will be once theaters open back up, which is concern I also brought up over in the New Mutants thread.
Sadly true. Admittedly, I'm looking at the matter as a Canadian, where although we're hit pretty hard here in Canada, it does seem like by the end of May we could definitely be through the worst of it. And that's with a Prime Minister who's been stuck in medical isolation the past two weeks. At the risk of turning this political, I would have more hope that the US has been able to move past the virus in a couple of months if the leadership had handled it better. We're way behind where we need to be in tackling this crisis, so I fully understand delaying films that far back to be safe.
