woke up not knowing what day it was.

That is so weird to me.... the people that get up at 7PM thinking it's 7 AM and go about their day for 30 minutes before they figure it out. Crazy.

So this week I'm working 6-2, unfortunately last night I got less than a hour sleep.
So of course when I got in I ended up nodding off, When I woke up instead of thinking its was 4pm Thursday. I thought it was 4am Friday, so I was about to run around the house getting ready for work, when I realised it was the afternoon and for some reason I had a OMG moment thinking that I had some how sleep't straight though my shift  .
I stood their in a panic wondering why my phone kept telling me it was a Thursday afternoon .
In the end my dad had to point out what day it was and now my whole family think I'm nuts.
Anyone else done this?

Well, you coulda stop drinking.

That's why some really crazy people have invented the 24 hour time display.

Since I quit work at the beginning of December I've occasionally forgotten what day of the week it is. I know the due dates of my course assignments but not the actual days of the week they're due. A disadvantage of home study, I suppose. During the holidays my kids were forever forgetting what day of the week it was. In my student days before marriage and children I'd know what day of the week it was by what class I was attending at what time.

I remember when I was a kid (like 9 or something) I'd often take my duvet downstairs and watch Saturday morning cartoons. One time, I'd nodded really early but I woke at 7.

So I grabbed my duvet and headed downstairs to watch the morning cartoons. I went into the lounge and found most my family all watching Eastenders. It was 7 in the evening.

This is what's needed. 24 hour watches.

Russian clocks are always...

^^ Be careful. In Soviet Russia, clocks watch YOU. :borg:

Actually, my uncle once owned a 24 hour wrist-watch. When I saw it when I was 10, it was the coolest thing ever.

When I was about 15, I had mono. I was sleeping all the time.

Once I woke up and saw the clock was around 7:30. Went out to the dining room and was very confused as to why there was a roast, rolls, veggies at the table for breakfast.

Finally realized it was 7:30 at night and not in the morning.

I've been zonked with the flu since last Sunday; rather than sleeping, I've been slipping in and out of fevered delirium. So pretty much every time I open my eyes it takes me a few minutes to get oriented x3. :rommie:

Even more fun is when you sort of wake up from a feverish haze and don't know where you are, though it's usually in your own bed. Hope you're on the road to recovery, RJ.

In the same boat myself... feel better soon, RJ. :)

I personally feel like I went 12 rounds with Mike Tyson. :ouch:
I want my mummy!

Thank you. :) This is day 7, which puts me about halfway through, so I'm told.

I feel like I went 12 rounds with Dracula-- totally drained. :rommie:

Thank you. I hope you feel better soon, too. :)
