Sorry, I should have posted the link with my original post :)

Re: Weekend Estimates - Star Trek #3 - $29 million - $191 million

As for the overseas earnings, I'm going to see Star Trek again for the third time tonight. Considering that I've never went to see a movie more than once before and I can count the movies I've seen at the cinema this decade on one hand that is quite extraordinary for me.
I'm already wondering, the first time around I didn't notice the lens flares at all really. Then I read about them here bothering people and I have to say that they bothered me as well the second time around. Now I wonder how a third viewing will change that. :)

Let us know if it bothers you or not. :D Maybe it is an even odd thing. Even viewings you notice them, odd you don't.

Re: Weekend Estimates - Star Trek #3 - $29 million - $191 million

Well, if I go tomorrow, it will be #10 -- so I'm double darin' ya.

Re: Weekend Estimates - Star Trek #3 - $29 million - $191 million

I might consider viewing #3 if I can find someone to share it with....

Re: Weekend Estimates - Star Trek #3 - $29 million - $191 million

I'm going to try and talk a non-Trekkie in soon to go with me. I'll even pay!

Re: Weekend Estimates - Star Trek #3 - $29 million - $191 million

If any Bay Area, California folks wanna see it again lemme know.

Preferbly in the East Bay.

Re: Weekend Estimates - Star Trek #3 - $29 million - $191 million

Almost went for a fourth time today. But held back. I love the movie...a lot! But four times in barely three weeks is kinda pushing it.

Looks like my $215 million domestic projection will be reached within the first three and a half to four weeks of release!

Awful for T4. I still can't believe several people here actually thought it would beat Star Trek.

I think the people saying that Terminator isn't nearly as popular as people thought were spot on. T3 didn't do great, and I think the whole thing with T4 was that it was PG-13 and they hoped that would open it up to a new audience - but it seems to have damaged it more than anything.
