Will they create a new Batmobile?

With the Tumbler blown up in "Dark Knight" do you think they will bring in another Tumbler or do something different or not even have a batmobile? We didn't see the Batcave in the recent moview so it's possible we might see him stick with the bike, though I would think they would come up with something new that can be sold as a toy. The batplane is one option though I wonder how they can do that realistic. The Batbat is something to think about as well but then that means you need a excuse to have Batman out on the Ocean.

They have a spare tumbler.

After blowing up one Tumbler, I don't think that the production staff is just going to bring on another.

Right

"She was built as a bridging vehicle. During combat, two of these would jump over a river, towing cables. "

thats what I'm excited about for batman 3, the gadgets and gear. New cave, new car(second tumbler if they go that route) or a new car

They'll make Batman more eco-friendly with non-fuel, non-motorized vehicles -- the Bat-skateboard and the Bat-bicycle. Maybe even Bat-rollerblades. And they'll be painted green so we get the point.

I would think that we would get a new Batmobile...perhaps a car version, and the spare Tumbler I thought was powering Applied Sciences? At least it was in the Gotham Knight novelization. I'm looking forward to seeing the rebuilt Wayne Manor and Batcave...we got teased I think with Bruce's outfitted penthouse suite base of operations.

Now that Batman is actively being hunted by the law he'll have to be much more stealth oriented. I suspect developing a smaller, sleaker Batmobile will keep Lucius Fox busy for a while.

Another problem I just thought about with using another Tumbler is that someone might figure out like the one guy in the movie that wanted to blackmail Fox is that it comes from Wayne Enterprises. I doubt Wayne and Fox will want to deal with that kind of problem again and proably build something that can't be connected to the company.

I hope not since I prefer my Batman stripped down from all the gadgets and vehicles. It adds to the mystique if he is able to traverse the city without a huge, obvious car or a supped up sports car with "batfins."

If he wants the other Tumbler he could just "steal" it since everyone thinks Batman is a criminal now. That gets Wayne Ent off the hook.

Batman could use a Toyota Prius, or maybe a Smart Car. Of course Bats won't seem quite as menacing showing up in either of those cars.

I never liked the Tumbler. It looks to military for my tastes. I hope in teh next movie they introduce the batcave and a cooler batmobile.

You have to wonder how they figured he got the first one.

Probably the smartest thing would be like a Chrysler 300M or something like that that looks slightly "Batmobile-ish" but wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb at the light. That probably wouldn't be the coolest option out there though.

Maybe he could "steal" Bruce Wayne's Lamborghini, that looked pretty sweet.

The tumbler was to bulky, disjointed and not sleek enough for my tastes. I suppose it worked "well enough" for a proto-Batmobile but I hope to see a "more traditional" Batmobile in the next movie. Minus neon, please.

And we better damn-well see Wayne Manor and the Batcave in the next movie. A billionare can't get a mansion built inside of a year? He's not paying them enough! ;)

One of the coolest (of many) things for me in BB was when Wayne played some notes on the piano opening the secret passage to the batcave.

Well...Bruce and Alfred aren't just rebuliding the mansion "brick by brick" they ARE making several high tech improvements to the South-East coridoor of the place as well, that would take time, especially if you are doing it in secret. Also Wayne Manor was an enourmous house...it would probably take a good year and half to complete the reconstruction procress.

Indeed - we see the bike because it's a different toy - so the next film needs another toy - maybe a plane?

I'd die laughing to see Alfred drive south of the border to pick up some workers

"shut yer bloody mouth back there!"

I think I read in some comic that Bruce in the comics hired polish workers to work on the batcave and had a mute/deaf man there to work on things.

I bet we'll see another Batmobile, maybe something more traditional than the Tumbler. I doubt they'll just give us another Tumbler.
