There was Astrid and Adelaide, if you count those, though.

Has any "full time" companion in all Who other than Adric died?
Amy and Rory.
Amy and Rory.
Technically, they lived a full life into their 80s after they stopped travelling with the Doctor. So, then, perhaps I should rephrase have any full time companions been killed (permanently) during their TARDIS travels other than Adric?
“Clara is gone and will never return. I will not reveal any forecast about her fate. I can only say that what will happen will shock, terrify and surprise. Strictly in that order.”
All signs point to a "shock moment" where she dies in Episode 10. I just hope it's not done purely for shock value, i.e. it's the last few minutes of the episode, everyone appears safe and they might be bantering or talking, and at the last second an alien pops up and kills her...like Kate on NCIS or something, when she was hit by a sniper. That would suck. I'd rather she dies doing something important. Saving the Doctor, sacrificing herself, etc.
Ugh. Better not happen like that. Although it would be a "See, Doctor, what happens when you break the rules?! It costs you!" moment, it wouldn't make sense and it would make me hate Moffat forever.I admit, I've been considering the possibility that Ashildr/Me caps her, completely randomly like that.
I wonder if Moffat will remember that Clara is psychically linked to River Song
Maybe the Doctor has to choose if he should bring River back to life or Clara.
The Doctor and Clara, with their old friend Rigsy, find themselves in a magical alien world, hidden on a street in the heart of London.
Sheltered within are some of the most fearsome creatures of the universe… and Ashildr! With a death sentence hanging over their heads, not all of the intruders will get out alive.
Given the announcement of Jenna's departure and all the heavy foreshadowing, I think we'll definitely see a dead Clara.
