Why the hate for The Fight?

I default hate all sci fi boxing eps. This little cutie of a trope needs to be dumped from the trope toolbox.

I didn't particularly care for the one in Battlestar Galactica although a lot of fans seemed to like it.

I can pretty much forgive BSG anything (it is perfect) but as soon as I saw it was a boxing ep I was in pain.
