The Least Disliked Episode 2025 - VOY Season 5

I'm taking out "Think Tank" because it wastes a brilliant concept (super-intelligent group of beings with next level tech who float around solving problems) by having them turn out to be deceivers who hire random thugs, and are as easily fooled as any other adversary.

Drone
In the Flesh
Timeless
Infinite Regress
Bliss
Relativity
Equinox (I)

Getting tougher now...Equinox 1 is my victim but not by a huge margin. It was between that and Bliss for me but I found the mystery and the nature of the pitcher plant more compelling so it got a reprieve.

Drone
In the Flesh
Timeless
Infinite Regress

Relativity

Drone, it didn't make sense to me how the mobile emitter would lead to a 29th century borg drone. Surely it doesn't include that much future technology. The 24th century borg would not have gained a significant advantage outside of a miniaturized holo emitter but the episode pretended the collective assimilating the drone would make them pretty much unstoppable.

Timeless
Infinite Regress
Relativity

"Timeless" Like these other two, it's great, but it's yet another episode that suffers from too much Chakotay. It's also an example of Voyager's problem of reserving their most interesting storytelling for tangent or alternate timeline episodes.

Infinite Regress
Relativity

Taking out "RELATIVITY".

I can't believe it lasted to the end. It was headache inducing. And time travel is WAY overdone

Plus, Jeri Ryan's acting in "INFINITE REGRESS" was simply excellent. It wins season 5.

I cannot complain at these results. I really enjoy Relativity but Jeri Ryan's performance as all the different personalities is amazing, you really believe they are completely different people.

Worthy winners once again.

I love "Relativity." I think it's such a fun romp. I always saw it as a somewhat meta acknowledgement from Voyager about how absurd their use of time travel had become. And I adore the cute, warm note it ends on.

And generally speaking, the Seven episodes are the best Voyager episodes.
