Why isn't Michael Dorn in this movie?

Does anyone know the TRUE story behind the glaring omission of Michael Dorn in this movie? Is it the fault of the new producers? Brannon and Braga, for all their faults, went out of their way to include fan favorite Dorn in the last five movies.

Star Trek 6: Dorn played the important role of Kirk and McCoy's Klingon lawyer EVEN THOUGH he was a TNG actor at the time! Some say that Dorn's inclusion was the reason why the movie grossed over a hundred million dollars at some box offices.

Star Trek 7: A memmber of the TNG cast, so of course he was in it. DOESN'T COUNT.

Star Trek 8: Dorn had left to join DS9 at this time and had NO BUSINESS being in this movie, but not only did he make an apperance but Worf's personal warship the Defiant did too! Many say that the line "if you were any other man you bastard I'D KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND, GRRR" is the greatest line in Trek lore.

Star Trek 9: Once AGAIN Dorn was in DS9 at the time but he BLANTANTLY JUST APPEARED on the Enterprise so that he could be in the movie! Even Picard was shocked! Some say Dorn was the only thing worth (or should I say Worf) watching in this movie.

Star Trek 10: Worf supposed to be the Federation Ambassador to Klingon at this time...and canon is COMPLETELY ignored and he's just back in his old position on the Enterprise, so desperate were the producers and John Logan and director Al Vinci to have Dorn in the movie!

ARE YOU TELLING ME that they can't find a way to include Michael Dorn in Trek 11!? They even have Winona Ryder in it and ask any Trek fan who they'd rather have in a movie, Ryder or Dorn and they would say Dorn! I am outraged, to be honest. What has Dorn done to piss off Abraham and his Lost cronies?

Dorn was in GEN, FC, INS and NEM because was a former TNG castmember. In FC they invented an excuse to bring him along, in INS they had a half-hearted attempt at an excuse, and in NEM none was given.

Dorn was in TUC as a kind of passing the baton from TOS to TNG, which was IMHO rather more effective than using Shatner in GEN. It'd be ironic he he appeared in this film as a passing the baton from the TNG movies to the Abrams films; but if he was in this we would have heard by now.

Maybe as part of this film we wiil see the "Starfleet Academy Players" stage version of Robin Hood in which Michael Dorn (as an Academy Cadet) will be portraying Will Scarlet.

Dorn will appear as his great-grandfather Worf. All of Worf's male ancestors were named Worf except for Mogh, which means "wharf" in ancient Klingon.

Family gatherings were kind of a pain in the ass though, especially when you said "Hey Worf, come here" and 56 Klingons came running.

Worf was the only reason to watch the TNG tv series, and movies. He moves to DS9, and he's finally treated with respect.

Its decided the TNG prose novels must be relaunched. What to do? Bring back Worf. How? Have the "A Time To Die" series cr#p all over Worf's growth on DS9 to set up Worf's return as old lackey-to-Picard.

Worf gets the last laugh though: the "Diplomatic Implausibility" prose novel was published under the TNG label. It detailed Ambassador Worf on a mission, and is the first appereance of the IKS Gorkon crew.

Because they couldn't come up with another bullshit excuse to bring Worf into the movie - no, wait a minute, there was Nemesis where they didn't even bother to try. Never mind.

Man, that didn't make it into my copy.
Must have been in the collector's edition.

And I didn't get the GRRR, either. I feel cheated.

The confusion is that GRRR is Klingon for "you bastard." It was redundant and both were cut out in most versions.
