Why do people dress this way?

College girls who wear the rattiest sweat pants tucked into Ugg boots?

This is gonna' make me sound old, perhaps, but I remember when bums wore track pants, and if you wore track pants, you were a fuckin' bum. When did it suddenly become cool? And Ugg boots? Ugg is right.

What do you hate in the public's fashion attire?

Sweatpants are ok when you're running to the store or something fast, but when I see girls with their make-up done up and stuff and in sweatpants or pajama-y pants I just roll my eyes.

I was a teenager in the 1970s. After that experience nothing in fashion shocks me at all.

Seems to be the latest fashion.. i've read a report that some stars now wear training pants in public as a fashion statement and what the stars do is automatically right

What you said right there. Also ass antlers, if that counts.

I remember years ago, browsing through one of my Mom's People magazines while visiting her, and there was some sort of "Style Watch" pictorial in it. It showed Cameron Diaz wearing Uggs, and it said they would soon be the new thing with all the stars clamouring for them. Now, five years later, I can't walk through campus without feeling I'm in the Ugg warehouse.

People really, truly have no mind of their own. Sheeple, indeed. It's kinda' sad.

I don't know what Ugg boots are, but I wear sweat pants, and there's certainly no stereo type of being a bum if you where then here.

As long as those huge jeans that hang down to your knees are out of style, I promise I won't complain about anything else.

Crocs.

Just Crcos.

Seriously, WTF?!

I love my Crocs. They're the most comfortable shoes I own! I don't usually wear them out in public, though!:p

I hate anything that bares the midriff. Because the people who wear them tend to be the ones that shouldn't! :p

That's all fine and good. Crocs are garden shoes. They're meant to be more in the manner of just running to fetch the paper, work in the garden, etc.

Dayglo plasticized rubber shoes aren't meant to be worn with capris while going out shopping. And they're really not meant to be worn by men.

I have so many problems with fashion. I had to get some new clothes yesterday and I had no idea what type of clothes people my age wear. It seems to change every minute so I went with my usual of sweaters and button down shirts. It may not be stylish but they look nice.

I really wish people on the whole would dress a little better when out in public.

We don't have to dress in suits and tails and to the nines and all of that but at least dress decently. Wear clean clothes, look nice, put on some damn deodorant, look like a member of society.

I went to a Boat Show this afternoon and there were a couple of people out there who looked like they just fell off a boat... in the Caribbean... 6 weeks ago.

I mean it's not a high-fashion even, for sure, I was in my work clothes (black slacks, white shirt -slightly unbuttoned, wife-beater underneath), but look like a damn member of society!

You're in PUBLIC.

As long as it fits and the color looks good on you, you're ahead of 75% of the population. In any regards, it's better to be fashionable then "trendy."

Yeah, that's one of my bigger pet peeves. Yeah, ok so bigger people may have a harder time finding clothes that fit, but
what's the point of buying something if youd be better off naked anyways.

That's what I figure, mate. I'd rather be proud of my clothes than fitting in and not liking them at all.
